So I have shared some of these thoughts in other threads but decided to just throw them all into one Bayley Appreciation Thread.
Bayley is my new favorite wrestler.
Nobody has more fun performing than Bayley. You can see it in her face. It's not a gimmick either. It's like they legit gave a superfan a chance to live out a dream and we all get to witness it happen. So often others have said "it's always been my dream to wrestle" but you don't ALWAYS believe it. However, with Bayley I believe it 100%.
Seeing Bayley live in Columbus and Cleveland literally gave me my passion for wrestling back. It was so cool seeing someone like Bayley come out to a massive pop and just have fun. It's everything good that I love about wrestling.
I said this before too. I'm not an emotional guy, at all. However, when I think about Bayley's entrance at NXT Cleveland I literally get goodbumps and I don't think that's ever happened before.
Bayley is awesome.

You're like me. When you like something...you really like it. Dude, I've been in the worst funk lately when it comes to wrestling. I've been on the verge of wanting to stop watching altogether (except for NXT, of course) until I saw Bayley live. I always thought she was a cool & fun character on TV but seeing her live brought me back to 1997 when I first started watching wrestling and was so into it because it was FUN. Bayley is fun. She's living her dream and we get to watch it. I think that's pretty damn cool. She wasn't noticed in a gym, picked out of a magazine or hired because she's someone's daughter. Bayley is there because she is a lifelong wrestling fan...and so am I. It's a different connection and not in a sexual way either (for a change) and one I've never really felt before. Bayley is awesome. |

I like her a lot as well.
I hope she does well on the main roster but I sorta doubt it so in a way I want her to stick around in NXT for a while.
Maybe she could be the first 2x NXT Women's Champion?

Excellent stuff Bash; I can see it too in Bayley, but never would I have thought Vader would've been knocked off his mantle for you by Bayley...

I like her a lot as well. I hope she does well on the main roster but I sorta doubt it so in a way I want her to stick around in NXT for a while. Maybe she could be the first 2x NXT Women's Champion? A lot of people have doubts and fears about her being on the main roster...and so do I. I would love for her to get a run as NXT Women's Champion at some point. No matter what happens, I'm going to enjoy it while it lasts. |

I dread what the main roster would do to Bayley. AJ Lee had something similar going for her in FCW/NXT as a girl who was just happy to be living her dream, and now, she's a douche who happens to be a face for whatever reason. |

Hahaha Bret Hart and Mr. Perfect are my all time favorites. Vader is in another category altogether. Bayley is like the "Toy Story" of wrestling. You love it because it's fun but still manages to give you an emotional connection and pull at your heartstrings because you know it might not last forever. But hopefully she does last and overachieves on the main roster. That's my wish for her, anyway. |

I see what you mean with the 'Toy Story' analogy...for someone like me, who is into underground metal bands around the world and writes an obscure Text Fed; Toy Story is a sublimely fun and rich film (well, the entire trilogy really) and it ticks all the boxes I want or expect in a film of that nature. The juxtaposition with Bayley is there as so innocent and likeable, you root for her naturally, and the connection is as organic as all the other good ones in history.  |

Every time I watch her she seems so happy and she comes off as very genuine like Sami Zayn and Kevin Steen. It will be a great day when she wins the NXT Womens title.

I love watching Bayley for the exact reasons you have stated. She's definitely fun to watch and hopefully they really do something with her in the future.

The booking, the charcter and the actual wrestler are all great. I really like her, but I definetly wouldn't go that far.
