Picked it up yesterday at TRU for the ps4. Just now got the Claw trophy. Should have gotten it yesterday because my pitchers combined for 16 K's in the game but it didn't register it..so today I kept my starter in until he hit 15 K's and it popped. So although it didn't say it in the description maybe it had to be done by one pitcher? Anyway it's fun so far.

Started a Franchise with my favorite team, the Nationals.
Also doing a side one, mostly simming and being the GM with Colorado and Minnesota to build them up.
Started RTTS. Needless to say, I'm putting the game to good use.

I did manage to get the "Nope" and "The Me in Team" trophies last night, but I can't for the life of me catch a ball out of play for the "Sorry Kid" trophy. After that the only trophies I need are The Play as/or against a Legend and be awarded a Diamond Dynasty item. Then I will have the platinum one.

I am so pissed right now. Just lost my first game of the season to AZ 2-1 and I only gave up 1 hit. Grrr! First off it was the first night I had given my two best players (McCutchen and Walker) off this season. (18 games in) My starting catcher was also off. Anyway AJ Burnett had been pitching a perfect game for 7 innings. The bottom of the eighth started with me inducing an easy fly to right. I moved Polanco over to make the catch and he dropped it for a 3 base error. And of course the next batter hit a sac fly to center. Anyway going into the ninth I was losing 1-0 without giving up a hit. With two outs I pitch hit with McCutchen for Burnett and hit a game tying HR to left center. My next batter Harrison hit what looked to be the game winning HR only to have the left fielder go over the wall to rob him. My relief pitcher gave up a hit in both the ninth and tenth innings without any damage. Then the eleventh started the same way as the eighth with a lazy fly ball to Polanco dropped again for a three base error. Then the next batter hit a ball down the first base line just past a diving Alvarez to plate the winning run. So now I am 17-1. I don't mind losing, but to lose on errors when my started had pitched a no hitter burns me. Time to start a new winning streak. lol

Ok what is it with right field and errors in the 9th inning for the Pirates?! Every game that the computer hits a ball to right field my fielder drops it?!
Polanco has 6 errors with 4 being 9th inning drops.
Hart has 1 9th inning drop.
Decker has 3 with 2 being in the same game.
And there was one other player that had a 9th inning drop in right.
Every one of them were routine fly balls.
This is getting tiring fast.

There's no actual GM mode. There's the usual things to do in franchise mode as a GM like assigning scouts, trading and signing but nothing groundbreaking. At least none that I have seen.

Three more errors (consecutive plays) by Polanco today. This time all in the first inning. Luckily it only cost one run. And I ended up winning 3-2. But it is so annoying because they aren't tough plays. I get him to the spot in plenty of time, but the balls just keep clunking off or drop out of his glove. This is now nine errors for him in fourty games. I am tempted to sit him, but he is third in the league in all three Triple Crown stats.

Finally got the Sorry Kid trophy. Now I just need a Legend in the Diamond Dynasty to have all trophies. I see today's update updated McCutchen's new dreads free look.

How is the batter vs pitcher part of it? Is it well balanced? Difficult to get hits?

Just got the "Me in Team" Trophy for tallying 7 RBI in Road to the Show. I hit a three run triple in my first at-bat and a Grand Slam in my third. Finished 4-5.

Playing the diamond mode or whatever. Putting a team together that can even get some runs is going to be tedious.

My perfect game -  Game winning walk off HR -  This was a pain in the @$$ to get. Took all Spring Training, 42 regular season games and about 10-15 exhibition games before one of my fielders actually caught one over the railing.  |
