I saw something on the bay a WWE Jakks NWO hardcore Ring . Came out during the R3 tech era during the NWO series . It was a NWO Ring with a black cage . does anyone have info or pics about this . Please help me out !! Thanks

Please help me out !! Thanks Sorry, I don't have pictures. The little bit that I know about this is that it was called " nWo Metal Match" and only the steel cage accessory was included. There was no nWo ring. Think of it as a Chaos in the Cell/Rage in the Cage playset with all of the pieces, including the cage walls, painted black. It was made to fit the Backlash/Hardcore Rings of the time. It was available at Toys"R"Us stores in April of 2003 and the MSRP was $10.99. I could probably count on one hand the number of times that I've seen it listed for sale on eBay. I wouldn't call it "rare", but it is definitely a hard set to find. |

Def want to see pics of this set !  A quick Google search for " nwo metal match jakks" pulled this image as the top result. Edit: It looks as if the playset could be found at multiple stores, including Ames. |

This thing was extremely obscure, as far as I can tell. Never saw it except at one random TRU well into the 2000's, years after it came out. I already had the regular cage by that time but something about the cage being black just seemed kind of cool. Probably should've grabbed it.

There was another one called "Ring Of Poison" too which was based on the nWo. It came with an announce table, chairs, headsets, JR and King. I remember getting it in late 03 when I was 11.

Please help me out !! Thanks     Lucky for me, I found a seller on the Bay. Selling the Cage, and 2 Stage of Rage sets in 2012. Each were $20 shipped and MOC, but I didn't keep the box. LOL, ended up selling a the stages for a nice profit. I've never seen the NWO cage since, but I haven't been looking either. I felt bad for the seller because he said his wife was making him get rid of his collection! |

It could be debatable that NWO had something behind the reason to re-release this package deal, but knowing Jakks..... they probably did because it was gimmicky; at the time they were releasing horrible ooze filled ring gear accessories packs. |

I'm not seeing your logic. The poison ring set doesn't say nwo anywhere on the package so why would anyone think one has to do with the other? The cage that was mentioned in the original post says nwo right on the box. The poison ring is just like any other ring. |
