Maybe he'll come out on RAW, and say something along these lines:

I think you downplayed Sting there, he's an Icon who is more over and has more presence than Seth EVER will. I wouldn't call him mediocre on the mic either, he's slightly above average to me, but to each his own. Yes he is indeed 56, but at least he's a bonafide main event player. Seth is just playing one on TV. I grew up on Sting in TNA and from what I've seen, he's really not that great in the mic. And of course Seth isn't a "main eventer" his singles career has barely started and Sting has been wrestling for over 20 years. I never said he was great on the mic though, i said ''slightly above average'' which really equates to being a little more than serviceable. I think he has produced some great quotable promos that stand the test of time. He's not Flair, Punk, or a guy like Rocky though, you won't get that hyperbole from me. Seth's voice is my biggest issue with his promos, it's awful. He's solid in that department though, unlike Roman who is piss poor, but not exactly Ambrose.

The outcome only makes sense if the Sting/Triple H feud continues. If Sting doesn't ever show up again when Triple H is abusing his power, then this entire thin was for nothing and it accomplished nothing. Shaking Sting's hand and then burying him an hour later didn't make any sense. Shaking Sting's hand and ending the feud only make sense if Triple H ends the authority and turns face....otherwise Sting should either A) Continue to go after Triple H, or B) Like I said this whole thing was for nothing and accomplished nothing and the only purpose that this served was WWE putting the screws to the one WCW guy they never managed to get. Last night was basically Sting being ok with the fact that Triple H cheated, had 4 guys interfere on his behalf, and then crack him in the head with a sledgehammer....why would Sting shake his hand? In kayfabe and in real life, nothing that happened last night made sense. Like I said, it was basically just WWE reenacting themselves winning the Monday Night War at Sting's expense. Stuff like this was exactly what he was worried about for 14 years and I don't understand how he agreed to that. It took a Pedigree, a Sweet Chin Music, and a Sledgehammer to beat Sting. Sting did not look weak. The handshake was an act of respect. It has nothing to do with picking sides. Nerd alert, but in the X-Men movies, just because Xavier plays chess with Magneto, it doesn't mean Professor X is happy with Eric's viewpoint. It's an act of respect as in "I underestimated you completely, Sting." Ok, but the storyline was that Sting came to WWE to stop Triple H from abusing his power. Sting lost the match, and Triple H is still abusing his power. Nothing was accomplished other than some dick swinging by WWE over the fact that they put WCW out of business 14 years ago. So when Triple H abuses his power from now on Sting is just like "meh, I don't care anymore, I tried and failed"?

If he wrestles again, I think a WM32 match with Undertaker or Wyatt are the only two options.
I'd prefer him to be inducted next year and have WM31 be his only WWE match. I'd also accept him in some authoritative role.

The only way they can save this, is if Sting asks Triple H for a rematch on RAW tonight. Trips refuses, so Sting starts appearing in the rafters now and again, we get the rematch at SummerSlam, Sting wins, Triple H sees the error of his ways and makes Sting the GM of RAW. It's a carbon copy of the TNA Immortal storyline, but that's the only credible way to go now.

I think Sting's next best career move is to jump on that offer from AARP so he can start getting some good discounts on his prescription meds. Maybe look into how much his Social Security benefits will be once he retires. I imagine he's up there in age.

Hopefully some more matches against other guys. I want Sting to be a wrestler for the WWE for a little while...not just a random appearance guy. There are superstars on the roster I'd like to see Sting mix it up in the ring with, he doesnt have many great years left, lets get what we can out of him.

Vince McMahon talked crap about Sting today on a WWE conference call saying that he took Sting from obscurity and "made him" a major attraction.....WWE must really think nobody knew who Sting was before Survivor Series.
Seriously....Sting should go back to TNA. At least they treated him with respect there. They created the Hall of Fame for him and were giving him Titles and main event matches long after they probably should have....in WWE, he's just another WCW schmuck that went down to Triple H.

I have been a fan of Sting since I was a kid and my brother gave me his old Galoob figure. I used to watch his matches on YouTube, and then I started watching him in TNA. I always wanted him to come to WWE, but not like this. It's a trend with Trips though, all WCW stars come in and job to him: Booker T Sting Steiner Goldberg Jericho The list goes on.

well it is now obvious this was Vince's final shovel of dirt to the grave of WCW. During his conference call today Vince said he "brought Sting in from obscurity and made him a star." I was never a huge WCW fan or even a Sting mark for that matter, but this is disrespect on a entirely new level. here's the link to read
