I asked this question in another post, about how do guys react when they see their figures when you want them to sign them. I have never got figures signed. I usually just get either Mags signed or pictures.
So after asking the question in another post I thought it would be cool to make a post and see and let everyone share their stories of what wrestlers had to say about there figures.
Share your best story of going to an autograph signing and the reaction, comments, and experiences of superstars towards their figures you wanted them to sign.
Thanks guys.

I heard Dean Ambrose hates his figures....not that he thinks they are BAD or doesn't look like him, but that it freaks him out to see a tiny version of himself, lol.

"The Million Dollar Man" Ted Dibiase wasn't very happy to sign his.... He was signing at a baseball game, we go every year & traditionally autographs have been free (you pay admission to the game but historically, there was no charge for the autographs). In past years, I've had Sgt. Slaughter, Bret Hart, Jerry Lawler sign figures at this event for no charge. When I put my JAKKS Classic Superstar in front of Dibiase, he seemed annoyed. "See, no, I'll have to charge you for that" he said. "No problem," I said, "how much?" "Twenty dollars" he replied.... "No problem!" I said & dropped a twenty in front of him - I just wanted the figure signed, & I would usually pay anyway. As we got our picture taken - I said quietly "I should have known that the Million Dollar Man would find a way to take my money." He's the only one I've had an issue with, though!

I really don't understand why it would make a difference!

I had Triple H sign the Jakks RSC Exclusive DX Two-Pack with HBK a few years ago. He was very happy to sign it and said it would be awesome if I could get to an HBK signing to complete it. Here I am 3 years later meeting HBK in a few months lol.

Happy english teacher. didnt realize i was getting test for grammar on this board Happy English teacher ? Didn't realize I was getting tested for grammar on this board .We've got a ways to go. To answer your question, I had Dean Ambrose sign an Elite figure at Ringside Fest. Dean looked at it, then spent a long time drawing a DA on it and then handed it back to me. I think he was spent by that point and it had only been about an hour into the Fest.

Yea I've had something like this.
This past fall, I met ted dibiase sr at a convention. I wanted the entrance greats fig signed. He pressed the button that played the music on the side, and then said, "I can laugh better than that!" And did his historic laugh. He actually listened to it twice. But with the actual figure, he didn't comment on.

I doubt it. These guys are WELL aware how people just get signatures on figures to jack up the price to hundreds on e-bay etc, and THEY don't get anything back off of their signature so WHY NOT make SOME money lol I could make the argument that hey the guys a minister but...where would that get me lol

When I met the Shield when their figures just came out I got them from ringside 2 days before. When Roman and Seth signed the 2 pack they both kept looking at it so much. Roman said he has never seen the finished product in person. I customized the AJ elite and make it a Pokemon edition since she loves Pokemon and she took a picture of it on her phone she loved it so much. stardust at ringsidefest put an X through the cody figure and said I DONT LIKE ANYTHING ABOUT HIM and signed it stardust with an x over codys head. alot of other times it is them reacted to the marker or whatever that i use.

Kane loves signing his figures when I got my elite 22 signed he said hey I've never seen this one then showed his wife and told her to find him one on eBay A. Kane is cool. B. Kane is CURRENTLY getting PAID son... MDM has a shitty legends deal and whatever else he does for wwe. He's not broke BUT he's not getting KANE money. C. Kane has learned the ULTIMATE lesson from Taker. Loyalty. Kane will be taken care of for LIFE just like Taker. Those guys have bought LIFE INSURANCE tech from vince lol (I mean back in the day someone needed money to buy a house and they asked hulk to help and vinnie mac BOUGHT the friggin house for the wrestler and let him pay him back or something...think what Vinnie would give such FEW LOYAL guys he has left if anything bad every happened to them) Kane is getting money still, he should have retired (tech not mentally maybe) but he's still goin, still a top star...he'd only care about that crapwhen he's in ted's position D. Kane is cool.
