Why did Mattel make those ring tights. A part of me wants to get it for my Rock elite timeline and part of me don't because of the gear is not accurate.

I am not a rock fan (don't kill me people) so I don't remember what event he wore that attire at, but I know for a fact he did wear that attire at a different PPV. It's a similar situation to the Cactus Jack RSC figure (Royal Rumble attire but box says No Way Out)

It's suppose to be based on the summerslam 1998 match. ive never cared for 'match accurate' attire. i have my figures loose, and i dont always keep accessories with the figure they came with. so to me, who cares? if you like the rock, you buy it, hands down. comes with sweet extras too as the belt and ladder are one of a kind in my collection. |

i love the rock and have the fig and everytime i look at i think about getting rid of it. Its just a weak fig.

I have no problems with the figure It looks unique from his other elites ( him and the rocky mavia exclusive) . I like it because I bought a extra just for the Ic title

Yeah, i was watching the review video of that figure and it's just not there. Accessories are cool but other than that, it's not worth it imo

The attire is from King of the Ring 1998. My only problem with it is the inaccurate torso.

It's suppose to be based on the summerslam 1998 match. The Defining moments figure has Purple/Gold summerslam 98 tights. I just got that one loose and the head/title from RSC version. The RSC tights are from WM14 & KOTR vs Shamrock |

Lol, I feel that way with the up coming Hogan exclusive. It's so lame considering most of us have been pining since day one for Jericho a la Vengeance 2001 - WrestleMania 2002. Typical of Hogan. That glory hog! Then again, I get every Mattel Elite RSC exclusive... (mumbles) I'll take one please.

My 5 worst mattel figures (in no particular order) RSC Rock (Old headscan, wrong attire, wrong body mold) The first basic Cesaro (bland headscan, too skinny) E24 Ziggler (Crap headscan, too muscular) Any/All Basic Cena (Doesn't need an explanation) All Elite Jack Swaggers (Way too skinny) Also some more bad figures are: Summerslam heritage rey, and E23 HHH |

i still haven't bought any of last years exclusives.
i think it was their weakest year. Conversely, this year is shaping up to be their best. HBK and Hulk look A+

I bought it for the IC title accessory. 3 Flashback Rock's last year was a lot to stomach for me.
