Nobody said the scale was "all wrong" the scale of his mid section is wrong, fact, the figure is too slim when compared to images You can't say "it's as good as it gets" then say "the only thing that could be bigger is his stomach" it's the largest section of a figure it needs to be accurate You did. Literally on this very same page. The head = awesome The attire = pretty spot on Scale = all wrong, except maybe the heightHaha! My bad! Except maybe the height though I said. I do agree it's an awesome likeness in the face and attire, I just can't get my head round the middle part lol. But yes, I did say all wrong, when in fact it's not. lol |

But yes, I did say all wrong, when in fact it's not. lol My Quake is supposed to be here Thursday with HBK, so I'll weigh in then. I do think his stomach looks a bit too small but that's about the only "issue" I've seen from initial pictures. The Jakks figure is absolutely terrible though imo. I'm not sure why that conversation is even being had, with big giant pictures no less, but to each their own. I see the Mattel version, while probably not 100% perfect, as a 100% upgrade on what already existed. |

attire = no issue
scale = its off but you also have to compare it to other figures because alone it might look fine but by others the flaw sticks out |

Some more impressions I looked at Quake again from the first page and found another major flaw so whats up with hair ? it lacks any detail and very unrealistic like most mattels ? so did the quality change ? I couldve swore guys like Mr#1derful had great detail , but most and quake just kinda look clumped on with no strands or any attempt at detail ?

Whats does that have to do with my impressions ? but look at the hair and the eye flaws on page 1 and even the new HBK look at the bangs its just looks clumped or plastered on with no separation or attempt at strands like real hair would have dont you think ? |

Don't sell him short. I get that, he probably had to work harder than most. And i still remember some of his matches, he was awesome, I never denied that. It's just how can we say how amazing Mattels figures are if they only get it 2 thirds right? The figure is far to small round the middle, to get a characters weight/size to the right scale is pretty important in my eyes. The head = awesome The attire = pretty spot on Scale = all wrong, except maybe the height No I got the whole quote, lol, it's an action figure and I think a pretty good representation of who it's modelled after, I'm a stickler for scale myself and a huge earthquake fan and I'm very happy with this figure. MDT did one hell of a job on earthquake and I hope they make another Earthquake elite in the future |
