Can't believe Angle's getting destroyed by Austin. Angle's by far the better wrestler, I guess just not in all other aspects of the game.
Anyway I went:

Flair drew a hell of a lot more money and was on top a lot longer then Bret Hart...That's just the way it rolls. Plus, with age ranges on the board, a lot of older guys who are considered great will be bounced quickly because kids dont know about them. Its fun but its really not very accurate. |

Fairly easy this round. Struggled a bit with Austin vs Angle and Perfect vs Eddie, but not too tough of a choice. Am really disappointed to see Chris Jericho eliminated already though. A guy that loves the business as much as he does and is always willing to help the future should get more love, especially considering he was against Lesnar in the first round. But, Brock Lesnar's the new 'it' boy these days. Four years ago Jericho would have one that round easily.

Granted people can do what they want, but when the title's "Greatest Wrestler Ever", it's up for dispute when people vote based on popularity. Not being pessimistic, just making an observation. I just hope Sting wins! |

That might be why I had trouble with Austin vs Angle. Clearly, anyone with eyes can see that Kurt Angle is most assuredly the better wrestler. But Austin was absolutely more vital to the business in his era and IMO, being vital to the growth of the business makes you one of the greats as pro wrestling isn't just about in ring work or talent.

Sting is whooping RVD in a one sided bout.....ditto with HBK hammering Foley.
Austin is comfortably beating Angle while Bret & Flair are having a REAL see saw match.
Despite having mounted a comeback? Punk remains unable to unseat the Hulkster....
Rock is getting his ass handed to him by The Undertaker....
Mr Perfect and Eddie seem to be having a classic.......
Lesnar seems to have kicked into gear against HHH and is beating him down.

Man, once again these were tough. I almost feel bad for not voting for some of the guys because I enjoy them too. But ultimately my choices were based on overall character and enjoyment.
