So I gave TRU online a boatload of crap a week and half ago (which I've done before) for not having ANYTHING new in my 2 local stores since nov. I also mentioned I've checked every week this year blah blah... Well this week elite 33 was on the shelves. Of course I already had em from walmart BUT I was still happy to see them there finally. I'm fully confident canada will get e34 on schedule (when ever that is). SO did my complaining actually get anything in gear or was it just dumb luck? Well if it WAS just dumb luck, normally the shelves would be stocked with all the old crap they never put out...or at least a second shipment of the bad kane elites etc etc...
So who knows - but try e-mailing the crap out of tru specifically mentioning where you shop etc...who knows...

My stores stock whenever they feel like it and I don't feel like bothering my friends that work at my Target and Walmart about when they get a truck and if they can hold figures for me. I've seen my Target get trucks every day of the week, and that doesn't guarantee that there are figures on it.
I've complained about lack of figures when I was starting out but I end up buying the ones I want most online now. If I see it at retail, I'll buy it again, and if I don't, I don't complain because I already have one.

It's a case by case basis, it all depends on how your local stores stock their shelves, how much gas you use, and if you value your time. Buying online is far more convenient. It doesn't bother me spending a little extra (it's never really that much when pre-ordering) instead of wasting time at local stores. Plus, I still get the thrill when pre-ordering goes live and getting my notice that my figures have shipped. |

Your right though I didn't figure in gas Yeah, but my area stocks only 3-4 Basic sets a year. A lot of the Best Of sets clog the shelves. Like I said, I don't mind paying slightly more to avoid wasting my time and getting disapproving looks from employees for buying wrestling figures. |

Ive been all over the TRU's in CT. Ive made a few calls to corporate too about the $$ they are losing by collectors / fans, buying the figures elsewhere. Hopefully its gets somewhere.
