WCW had some terrible matches for example Daffney vs Ms. Hancock in a wedding gown match at Bash At The Beach 2000. They weren't even wearing actual wedding gowns for crying out loud. Anything that was Vince Russo's idea

The title match on Nitro between Booker and I forget who, but it was something along the lines of a San Fransisco 49ers Pole Match.
Horrible.

oh man......this list of matches could be LEGION like. Hogan was definitely involved in 5 of the highest profile sh*tbombs ever devised by WCW
vs Sting @ Starrcade 1997 vs Warrior @ HH98 vs Nash on Jan 4th 1999 Nitro vs Sting @ Halloween Havoc 1999 vs Jarrett @ BATB 2000
ALL of these should have been HUGE deals and looked back on fondly. But we got what we got......

The New Blood angle had potential......but Russo had a meltdown of overbooking again and it was shot to sh*t. However.....he should not shoulder 100% of the blame for this one......backstage politics were indeed a factor.

There's so many I could list. I'll go with an obscure one: Team Hogan vs The Dungeon of Doom in War Games at Fall Brawl '95.

I thought all the war games were terrible. Especially the blu ray.

All of them except for most Cruiserweight stuff. You are way wrong. Something tells me that you probably aren't educated in the history of WCW enough and are just basing on what you have heard or know of. WCW was amazing at one time for matches. Go back on the WWE Network, watch all of 1992 and 1993 PPV and Clash of the Champions. It was so damn fun and entertaining then, it's almost heartbreaking to see what it had become. Sting vs. Vader, Cactus Jack vs. Vader, Hollywood Blondes vs. Douglas/Steamboat, Hollywood Blondes vs. Horsemen, Dustin vs. Rude, Austin vs. Dustin, Windham vs. Steamboat, Windham vs. Flair, just so much amazing stuff back then for matches.

Hogan/Savage in a cage match at Uncensored 1998 WCW Uncensored 1998 Steel Cage Match Hollywood Hogan vs. Randy Savage (w/Miss Elizabeth)- Well this kinda sucked. The grossly overpaid Michael Buffer (he's appearance fee was close to, if not in, the millions to introduce one match every show for years.) is introducing this one. What's the prize that makes this worthy of going after the World Heavyweight Title match...control of the NWO...yep. If it was concerns about Sting and Hall following a cage match, then trust me Sting and Hall would've done it with ease. The lights go down for savages entrance but come back up,well for a brief moment, they go back down again and stay out for about a minute. This match was punches, chokes, whippings, occasional cage spots. The big spot was Mach hitting a double axe handle off the top of the cage, looked pretty good. I think both were bleeding, my feed went to crap. The two brawled outside the cage. Yes they didn't even enforce a basic rule of a cage match, yet still had a padlock on the door. The Disciple (still unnamed), takes out the outside, steals the key, goes in and blocks Machs attempted elbow off the top of the cage. He dares Mach to come down, Mach obliges, and it looks like he's about to get a beat down. But wait, who's coming down from the rafters? It's Sting! Got a big reaction. He's perched on the cage at first before being lowered into the ring. The four stare down (Lil' Naitch, the assigned ref ,was taken out by Disciple when he entered),Mach whispers something to Sting a few times, then he clotheslines Sting and hits him with a piledriver before spitting at Hogan and leaving. Mach and Hogan argue as Mach walks to the back. Then the show ends...yep.

Why is this forum so anti WCW? Yes it had problems but so did WWE in the early 90's and that's why WCW kicked its ass.
The matches weren't perfect but WWE didn't give us technical masterpieces at that period either.
