The finisher he used on raw was lame

So in order to keep people safer, we put them in a front-face headlock and then drive their face into the mat from even higher, with a great deal more force than the Stomp, and without them truly being able to shield their head with their hands.
Sounds safe.

Cant he keep the Curb Stomp, but rather than target the back of the head / neck, target the upper back?

Cant he keep the Curb Stomp, but rather than target the back of the head / neck, target the upper back? That's the area the two 'curb stomp' moves on WWE 2k15 target. The vertex of the spine, rather than the back of the head. It could have the same effect sell-wise and visually, only it wouldn't be sending a message to audiences that booting the back of a man's head is appropriate. This just blows my mind, though, because any superkick, dropkick to head, enziguiri, kneeling kick, etc. would have arguably the same or greater impact on the head/neck. This just feels petty.

That new finisher sucks ass. No wonder Lucha Underground and NXT are more entertaining.

That move sucks. Pretty soon matches will only consist of hip tosses and arm drags. This is really, really lame. No wonder every match feels the same I'd love to see more hip tosses and arm drags..

Don't get me wrong, I love it, how original and fitting it is for Seth, bit it always looked weak as sh*t to me unless it was through cinder blocks or something.
I will definitely miss it though, I'm sure I will also get over it just as quick.
Seth is a phenomenal talent. He'll cope.

He should begin crunching combinations in the WWE2k15 last gen CREATE-A-FINISHER starting now.

Bugger!
We can thank Naomichi Marufuji for innovating it and Rollins popularising it.

Here is hoping they are just holding off on debuting his new finisher for ER. Whatever that was supposed to be last night was garbage.
The curb stomp was a character defining finisher. Unique, high impact, and worked on everyone. At least he got to the top before he had to drop it.

Can he do the actual Curb Stomp instead? The Super Dragon one?

Story going on now is that WWE legal advised it because of some pending lawsuits.
As for what he should do instead: I always like his flying knee from the top that he gave in a lot of the Shield matches.

They can't take responsibility for everything that happens to fans of their product, and parents have got to stop looking for someone to blame anytime something accidental happens to one of their children. Who are just playing most of the time. I'm not a parent so I can't fully understand, but if my kid saw something that they shouldn't do, and did it.. I'd be more upset at myself as a parent than the content they viewed.. If these curb stomps were being done maliciously with full intent to hurt other kids, then we might have a problem.. But kids playing around and accidentally getting hurt.. This has literally been going on since the beginning of the human race.. We're suppose to live, experience, and learn.. Not Live, experience, blame others, file lawsuit, take no responsibility, learn nothing.

has no one smartened up WWE? IT'S A WORK! Seth works light and the curb stomp is only as brutal as the receiver chooses to make it. It's a belly bump too, which is a much LOWER chance of concussion versus a powerbomb, body slam, or other slam moves with a back (and potentially head smacking canvas) bump.
I could understand if they were telling Eva Marie to stop doing it, but Seth knows what he's doing and hasn't hurt anyone with it.

How come WWE ban so many moves?!

I believe it's more about the reckless perception the move gives off, than it is the actual bump taking of it.
