Picked up 3 more Yankees. I have to check my list but I think I only need Don Slaught to complete the guys who don't have a McFarlane. Here's Whitey Ford, Willie Randolph, and Mike Pagliarulo.

Just picked these two up. The Fernando is one of the rarest starting lineups ever made.

curch, is it the carding that makes that Fernando so rare? I know for a fact that I had him in my collection when I was young but it wasn't a French card.

That Fernando is rare for 2 reasons. Yes, the cardback is rare and the Canadian Fernando seems to be short printed. But also the figure itself is in white, which is the 88 figure. But the 88 Fernando was grey. The 89 us release Fernando is white, but in a different pose. Therefore the white uniform in this pose was only available in Canada.

Very interesting. I'm guessing I had the more common one. I remember as clear as day, my dad helping me pronounce his name. Haha.

Came close on a few loose Fralic auctions but still missed out. Sorry I havnt posted in a while, but I have picked up so much lately. I had to post these! Needed them for my LOOSE 88 NBA set. That Mark Eaton is awesome. I know he is really expensive, or used to be. I always wanted one because I actually liked him a lot as a player. It's amazing how terrible the Stockton looks.

You will get a Fralic someday The 88 Jazz are not my favorite. But I needed them for my set and the price was good!

I have a few of these as part of my bigger sports memorabilia shelf. The Matttingly I've had since I was a toddler, the Posada is from 2001. Randolph, Raghetti, Clark, Henderson, and Winfield were given to me by my aunt and uncle after they found them cleaning out their basement. The Mantle doll was an obsession for my dad to find back in 97/98, and it's got all kinds of special meaning for me since he passed. Never been out of the box. Overall my Yankees/Patriots sports collection Iof this type that large. I'm more into caps and jerseys as far as sports collecting goes, with roughly 300 hats and 50+ jerseys.

crush, loving that Yankees collection. I had most of the Yankees SLU figures growing up along with hundreds of other random figures but donated them years ago. I just completed my Yankee collection of only guys that don't have a McFarlane figure. That Mantle doll and bobble heads are sweet too. I don't think I could bring myself to unboxing it either.

Save the date... Starting Lineup Meet and Greet (Curchs Kennerkon) Saturday, September 24th. Mountain Freeze 315 S. Mountain Blvd. Mountain Top, PA. 18707
Great location, right on a busy highway (route 309).
Table information: You will need to bring you own table(s), chairs, tent and whatever else you want to display your items. Keep in mind this is a rain or shine event. A popup tent may not be a terrible idea. Spaces are as big as you need but also limited. Fee is free! I will be there at 7 a.m. for set up . Feel free to come anytime from 7 a.m. And after to set up your items. If you are just coming to buy, trade or mingle we will have an opening at 9 a.m. We will shut it down by 3 p.m. But we can stay as long as we would like. Feel free to tailgate, bring a football, the kids or whatever you would like to have a great time. If anyone is looking to stay Friday/Saturday nights, the closest hotel is a Holiday Inn Express in Drums, Pa.
What can you bring to sell and trade? Anything you would like, as long as it's sports and or toy related and legal. The only advertising I will be doing for this is on the Internet as I am not considering this a legitimate show. More of a gathering. But if money is exchanged, that's a plus. We will be on a busy intersection, so we may get some foot traffic. Any and all updates for the show will be in the Kenner Starting Lineup Facebook page.
