Hi guys! I haven't made a thread in ages, but I felt the need to create this one just to get everyone's opinion!!
I was looking at the images of some of my DC collectables Figures that will be coming out later this year. I noticed that they are including extra pairs of posed hands! I know the bigger scale, more expensive figures like the ones from Sideshow always had them. Lately though I've been noticing that more & more smaller scale figures started coming out with extra hands, and it got me thinking!!
What if Mattel started giving us Elites with extra hands?? We've seen the shirts, the hats, the chairs, the surf boards...etc! But what if I wanted to pose my RVD with his thumbs, D'bry with his YES hands, Cena with his salute hands, and so on...
Would anyone be willing to sacrifice some of the accessories for these, just to keep the cost down? or are they not even that important? Your Thoughts...

It would mean completely new molds. Isn't worth it to me.

If they were easy to pop on and off I wouldn't mind open grappler hands, closed fists, chops, and hands for holding illeagal foreign objects.
Guys like Cena could have character specific hands to throw up their gang signs with.

Even if not extra sets, I'd love to see exclusives with different hand poses like that Kmart cena. Daniel Bryan pointing hands, nwo too sweet hands, etc.

Well they could give Big Show a Fist as a 2nd Hand... Atleast that would make way more sense than a TV Screen with Triple H on it as a accessorie for Big Show!

I think that would be cool.
Fists.
Hands that can hold things.
Hands for signature gestures like RVD's thumbs, Cena's "OK", or the "Kliq".
I'm all for it as long as they aren't crap and end up being loose or snap off. Any piece that is removable has to be done RIGHT or it can ruin the whole figure.

I like it only for certain figures. I recently was thinking it would make the DDP figure better if I could pose him making the diamond cutter sign with his hands.

However, I would like to see more personalized hands for Bryan and Randy Savage. I love the ones we got on Kmart Cena and would like to see more of em.

Or articulated hands like some toybiz had. But yeah, with four horsemen coming out, it would have been perfect. Jakks actually gave us a few character specific hands like horsemen, Samoan spike, cena brass knuckles. And to think, we almost got Jeff with the gun hands. |

i would love horseman fingers, RVD Thumbs, open hands, Big Show fist, Diamond hands for DDP. Or even open "shouting" hands for U-SO!, NEW-DAY! or Stings WHOO!.
but not really at the cost of accessories. Unless its at the cost of the plastic shirts. Because i hate them.
I was reading a review of some Spiderman figure that comes with like 6 extra hands and an extra head.
Extra heads would really interest me.
It seems like Mattels WWE line is really behind the curb on things like this. Star Wars, DC, Marvel, MOTUC and Gi Joe all have hands or heads as an accessory.
