Partial Source: Wrestling IncAdam Rose took to Twitter this week after his story on ESPN's "Behind The Curtain" documentary received almost universal acclaim. He was polling fans as to whether they prefer his Adam Rose character, or if they want to see him return to the Leo Kruger persona. Adam Rose posted the following on Twitter today.

Again, it'd be cool and it'd give him some direction if he slowly, week-by-week changed his persona until the eventual day he comes out as Leo Kruger.
And he'd come out with a bunny head. Preferably decapitated from The Bunny.

They really missed out on the opportunity to make him the least bit interesting after the disaster of a run he had...
He could have become a dark character via his heel turn or something, but, nope. Let's just have him be the same party guy with a crappier attitude.

Personally I prefer Adam Rose. But, the problem isn't the gimmick. The problem is on RAW he was never given time to establish his character. Fans didn't know who Adam Rose was. They didn't know why he parties. They didn't know if they should cheer or not. Changing to Leo Kruger now won't mater unless they are willing to give it time to get over.

the Adam Rose gimmick has failed on the main roster. So him going back to Leo Kruger would be a plus.

Just put him with Bray Wyatt for a bit and have Bray get into his head and turn the party animal Adam Rose slowly into Leo Krueger character.

Adam Rose is much better. Leo Kruger is a poor man's Bray Wyatt.
This topic comes up more often than the Cena heel turn one now. Your thoughts?

It's also coming up now because the performer himself wants to bring back the old character and it was a prime focus of the ESPN documentary that just aired, so now is a pretty decent time for it be brought up. |

Kruger existed before Wyatt and the characters aren't really the same. Kruger is a crazy poacher, psycho from South Africa. Wyatt is a cult leader from the swamps of Louisiana. I can see why people would think they're similar, but I don't think they are. |

I've never seen Leo Kruger, so I went with Adam Rose.
Rose was a fun character when he was a face, turn him face again and put him in a tag team with Fandango or something.

Why would they bring Krueger back when he was about to be fired as that character. If it wasn't for Adam Rose, he wouldn't have a job. I didn't realize that he created the character, so props to him, but don't think he would be any better with he old character.
