Face scan reminds me so much of the guy from Hardcore Pawn. Holy your sig has me crying.. But yeah that scan is pretty bad. Its not as bad as that horrible DM Hogan/Les Gold face but the sweatband is too big and thick and once again hair holes and they never get the top of his hair right , knee pads to boots are also incorrect as they should almost be one and the gold chain is still the wrong color . Skin color is better and the cheeks, mustache / mouth are improved but those crack eyes scare me as I had a bad set on that terrible DM hogan and I also dislike the rubber vest shirt so this one will be a pass for me as I cant even use anything on it for fodder parts.

Go figure... - the sweatband does look big but the one he wore then WAS big and thick - the (barely noticeable) hair-holes give you the option of having the headband on or not (...at least they didn't just paint it on like the Jakks CS8 one!) - you can't actually see the top of his hair, but if it's like the DM one, then it's pretty good... - knee pads to boots... check some photos/matches - sometimes they were very close together, sometimes they were further apart - the gold chain is... gold - the "crack eyes" look is perfect for Hogan of that era: ...nailed it.

Yeah, the necklace color matches his mustache & eyebrows hahaha. His eyes do look as high as he did back then though, so they got that right so far. Also, for those who LOVE this MOC, I hope for your sake you get his left hand facing the PROPER direction, not in towards him but OUT and AWAY from him...surprised no one noticed how AWFUL that looks in this photo of the packaging. It's like he's doing the Hulk pose with his right arm combined with The Rock's 'Just Bring It' with his left hand / arm. Horrible, horrific, horrifying & horrendous thus far. Perhaps it will be corrected, but I kinda hope that it won't be, just so I am not tempted to get it. Money better spent elsewhere, methinks. The worst part is since it's an exclusive, you won't know if you'll be getting it the way it's shown or other versions where his hand is facing outward toward the crowd, presuming it will be packaged properly and in some cases, literally, in a mistaken manner. Oh well, I s'pose. Yeah your right the hair color is off too but the huge plug in headband thing is very distracting dont you think ? and I hope mattel would explore other options on rubber shirts and plug in the hair accessories or a option of a hole less head as its a fail .

I love the scan... really captures the goofy look of Hogan from that era. I'm pleased they've made the "Hullkster" on the headband smaller too. yawn, the E35 Earthquake would have been a much better RS Exclusive, its becoming a bit of a pattern that im disappointed at the imagination of the RSC decision makers. I mean when was the last time we got a WOW reaction to a RS Exclusive, the last thing that i was really happy to get was the rated r title belt, all these hogans are getting a bit silly, the only hogan that should have been an exclusive would be nwo hogan...one of the most wanted/sought-after wrestling figures from Mattel should be an exclusive...? no of course your right it should only be figures nobody wants that are exclusives, RS exclusives should be the best possible figures, if its a good exclusive it will sell, i personally would like a nwo hogan to see the box design and would have no issue with it being sold in a elite set further down the line. ...

What's the stupidity behind packing him without his shirt on? As a MOC collector, I'm more annoyed about that, and the fact that the horrible torso joint is visible, when it doesn't need to be. You won't even be able to open it, and put the shirt on, because it won't fit in the plastic... good job. Its not as bad as that horrible DM Hogan/Les Gold face but the sweatband is too big and thick and once again hair holes and they never get the top of his hair right , knee pads to boots are also incorrect as they should almost be one and the gold chain is still the wrong color . Oh, come on - it sounds as though you're trying to convince yourself. The headband he wore didn't take up most of his forehead, bottom line... the plastic headband on this looks silly. They should've made it fabric and much narrower.

I wonder how it would look like of the eyes were painted right. Love the skin tone though, now that's how hogan's tan should look like brother!!!

The only problem with the face is his left eye is a little wonky. And that's not going to be on every figure. He'd just better be hot dog-colored this time. It looks fine to me, and I'm pretty picky. I've still not recovered from E36 DDP's vest being baby blue.

Meh....I really just don't like that head scan. There's just something off about it.
I'm also with others that can't see why this is an exclusive.
Hollywood Hogan would've killed it.

I'm all for RSC exclusives that people really want - but there's just NO WAY such a wanted/high-profile figure as NWO Hogan would be exclusive (especially as it would sell so well at retail)... I could maybe see Mr America as an exclusive though. Oh, come on - it sounds as though you're trying to convince yourself. The headband he wore didn't take up most of his forehead, bottom line... the plastic headband on this looks silly. They should've made it fabric and much narrower. Well, I don't think it looks silly - but granted, in hindsight it does look a bit too big. I'm not sure a fabric one would have worked though? (...it would have to go right 'round his head., rather than fit on his forehead..).

The more I look at it the Huge thick head band thing is throwing this one off for me as it just looks silly more like a pad and I was hoping the gold chain might be gold color this time and maybe its me but I just dont get the rubber shirt vest ?
I looked at tons of photos from this era and his hair is totally wrong as it was fluffed at the front (volume), and he wore a sweat band not a F pad and his chain was the color of gold hence a gold chain and his boots and knee pads were always like one but it was also off on the DM one too .

Hulk's is telling someone " hey u got the stuff?" Are you talking Crack a Mania running wild ? maybe thats why mattels never have lip color or teeth though so you maybe your on to something ? But this one is much improved color wise and facial over the sleazy greasy DM awful Les Gold one that freaks me out and now I cant even watch that show any more as Im waiting for him to break out in hulkster speak at any moment .

Wow... each to their own and all that - but seeing that Jakks Hogan in saintpatrick33's signature makes you realise just how good Mattel's figure is...

Quit nitpicking guys.....there is not a better option available out there, no matter how much jakks collectors try to tell me differently. Is this figure perfect? Probably not, but it is the best available.
And i will tell you this.....once this figure sells out and it will, there is going to be all sorts of threads with members bitching because they dont want to pay a $100 for it on the secondary market.

I wish they'd lose the cut/ripped rubber shirts already ... especially Exclusives !
There's no reason those shouldn't be cloth.

I don't think it's a cost issue - Mattel always use the plastic shirts for skin-tight vests/tops. I think they look better... the cloth ones often look too baggy or ill-fitting.
