Thanks folks. I just hope the Bradshaw head is the same color. I didn't think of that til later after I'd already gotten it done. I assume it will but its never a guarantee. If not I am pretty good at matching skin tones which I did with the Jeff Hardy. I knew that time of working at Sherwin-Williams for a while would come in handy sometime.  |

you have some serious potential. You're painting skills are pretty damn good. My advice would be "presentation"....
...I know it sounds stupid...this is an action figure forum, who cares about presentation. But it is so simple and could really make your customs POP. Just a poster (any color you choose) and lean it against a wall...then try to get as much natural light as possible while taking the picture without flash. It will help show all the detail in your paintjobs. Or you can get all fancy and get a lightbox...but I prefer the poormans way.
But good stuff. I like it.

That Summerslam 89 rude is glorious. Thanks man. It took a while to get done but was really fun. The pictures don't do it justice. I actually have some dark grey "smoke" lines in there that aren't being picked up as well as the transitional colors which are not coming through in the pic. I may try to mod the old light box and figure out how to get some more light on it. It's probably, the best custom i've done or at least my favorite. I'm debating trying to find another Rude to do his multi-color "ravishing" tights and the pink tights with the ic title and warriors facce on the but. The ic title must be a decal though. There is no way to accurately paint it the same way that it looked on his tights |
