I decided to start a thread for my customs since I am working on quite a few at the moment....

I'd be happy to hear what you think could be improved on.
First is the Dude Love I put up in several places already. 
The Dude makes use of leftover parts and the basic 45 mankind. I added some apoxie sculpt to his gut to fatten him up some as the B45 mankind is too skinny. The shirt fits better now. This is an all hand-painted figure. I tried to initially make a cloth shirt for him. I had the form and everything right but painting on it was futile so I scrapped it and painted up an old shirt.
Next up is a repaint of the NECA 1989 8-bit Batman figure with a custom head sculpt. 
If you know anything about the 8-bit figure it was all purple/blue/pink prior to painting. I wanted a Keaton full head sculpt so I scalped the top of the cowl, used apoxie for finishing up the head/hair, did some paint work and then did the body. This figure was time consuming and I thought I would never get it done. His extra hands and weapons are also in the box with him. I painted all the studs on all the hands silver like NECA did with the larger version of this figure. |

The Dude Love looks way too skinny in my opinion
There are some sloppy spots on the back that could use a little bit of a touch up. use a toothpick and you should be able to scrape off the excess sloppy paint.
Edge looks good, nice job.

Bray looks fantastic. I cant even tell that the shirt is hand painted. It looks like its actually printed on there. The coat and other accessories look really cool. keep it up!

Thanks fellas. Does anyone have any requests? I'm kind of tapped on ideas right now or I would have some more up already. I usually work in chunks because the ideas hit me rapidly then die off for a bit. I've been looking at my parts bin and spare figures and I'm having a hard time figuring out anything new.

I commend you on the effort of making camo on that edge figure, that must have been a pain to paint.

I commend you on the effort of making camo on that edge figure, that must have been a pain to paint. thank you very much. Its actually really easy. Much easier than painting strict designs. There is no real right or wrong way to paint the camo. Its just about layering and putting it on in a way that it blends well. |

I'm working on a Mideon and Viscera right now. I hope to have the whole Ministry of darkness done by the time DM Undertaker comes out. Really, shouldn't be too bad and its moving fairly quickly, I'm just waiting for a Viscera head. Mideon is basically done. All I have left to do is sculpt the hair on the head and finish sealing the rest of the body. |

It was actually going to be all elite but I  ed up the upper part of the torso when I was taking it apart to paint. It was my first time trying to crack a torso. I had a spare Basic Sandow laying around so I took his torso used some apoxie to fix so the peg inside fit and then did all the sculpting and painting. I don't use decals for anything now..... I plan to get the paper to do so soon though. |
