The best you guys can do is continue posing suggestions and talking about what you're interested in. Everything you suggest and say is taken into consideration. That's really all there is to it and all that can be said. Going too far into detail, I can assure you, isn't necessary or really something that should be done. Maybe after years have gone by like they did with Jakks, things can be spoken about like I did with the Jericho/Goldberg pack before I left. But I can honestly say that RSC's developmental process for Exclusives pushes really hard to make everyone involved happy. Except for that one time I pitched ECW Champion Christian with kendo stick and car door and got shot down. What?! I would of bought it in a heartbeat! Me too! |

And I certainly was not expecting any info on future stuff, but like the comment you made about ECW Christian being shot down, I think is collectors would love to hear more stories like that. I think it's an awesome way to engage with us and also for you guys to get an even better understanding of your consumer base. It would be cool if you guys could blog about stuff like that. The runner ups for exclusives, that ones that didn't make it. The crazy suggestions. Etc. |

I want to know amounts made When RSC had some of the Jakks Rocky Exclusives some of them were limited editions that were in the low 1000s like Battle Damaged Rocky from Rocky II or Caveman Rocky |

I have a love/hate relationship with all the RSC exclusives. but i have bought them all and will continue to buy them all because in the end they add something really cool to my collection and that's the most important part.
example: Edge coming with that belt is amazing, but his attire being SOOOOO boring and his jacket having zero paint details for a basically $30+ figure it should have been better.
Punk was perfect, a shirt, belt & microphone....it just seems odd that Punk gets all those but this new Hogan comes with....a shirt.
makes me wonder if RSC has just one budget per calendar year to use on exclusives so they have to be careful with certain ones.

Then when it is up for sale those same people don't buy it because it costs to much. Or the shipping is to high. Or it's not who I voted for. That's what happened with Legends on Matty. They need to make exclusives that will appeal to everyone not just a small portion of collectors. |

Hopefully this means that the third one this year is going to be all out amazing, given that Shawn was minimal outside of a jacket and paint apps, and Hogan is mostly a repainting. The year we had Rey, we got SES Punk which was an amazing figure. Bret was very minimal and we got Stone Cold with 2 titles. Brock and Kane were minimal save for the exclusive titles, but then we got Cactus Jack which is a pretty awesome figure. Rock was minimal, though he got an exclusive title. I hope that's true and #3 this year is going to be amazing. |

All exclusives are meant for a small portion of collectors. Most of them are us here, as the general public rarely knows that RSC exclusives exist. I do agree with you though, voting doesn't matter. I just wanna know who chooses and how they choose We have a meeting at RSC and discuss what our top picks should be. MDT also has had a lot of awesome ideas. Message board feedback is one factor but not all of it. Once we decide what we'd like to do it still has to be approved by both MDT and WWE. A figure can get nixed due to the cost being too high, it's already planned in another future assortment, etc. Also keep in mind that they are planned very far in advance. Years ago we posted a thread on the board asking people which exclusive they'd like to see and every single reply was different. It was impossible to come to any kind of consensus. We are reading the boards and do consider any suggestions. |
