I love The Rock's version of selling the stunner! Fit his character perfectly and looked quite funny too.

christian - guy always seemed so concerned with protecting himself. it's always within this realm of his control with very few exceptions, never any big spots, which is crazy considering how many ladder matches he's been in.

Scott Hall took Austin's Stunner worse than even Vince McMahon, who used to botch it pretty badly for awhile.

Kane hasn't taken a Pedigree correctly in 20 years.

Kane hasn't taken a Pedigree correctly in 20 years. As soon as I read the topic the first thing that came to mind was Kane butchering a Pedigree. And you're right, it's not just in recent years as he's gotten older and less mobile. Nearly two decades of some of the sloppiest Pedigrees ever. I understand unhooking the arms to protect the guy taking the move has become normal protocol, but "safety" and "at least look like you're trying, Kane" are two different things.

That makes me wonder, why does HHH unhook most people's arms and some he doesn't? The pedigree Foley took at RR 2000 comes to mind. Hell, I don't think Foley's arms ever came unhooked during any pedigree in his career

I don't like how Kane takes a lot of moves. Like how he'll take a Pedigree the same way he takes a DDT sometimes. Cena is actually pretty good, he's just super bulky.

Obviously it was changed to protect the opponent's face/head so they can use their hands as a front face bump. I dunno when he stopped hooking the arms but ever since like 2002 I noticed it. I get the reason, but it looked so much more devastating and legit before.

I get the reason, but it looked so much more devastating and legit before. So I looked up a pedigree compilation and it seems that he didn't fully started unhooking the arms until 2003-2004. It seems that he started unhooking in 1999 for at least the biggest names. After 2002, it seems that he started unhooking for most of the main eventers. The Pedigree varied a lot around this time seeing him releasing almost at the start of the move on Hogan while not unhooking for Hurricane. Around 2004, he started releasing midway to very late through the move depending on the guy (i.e. Cena, Orton, and Sheamus for the earlier and the latter for Benoit and Lesnar).

I must be in the minority but I LOVED the way RVD sold stuff. Especially the piledriver.
