Ric Flair, by far. Part of the reason I hate him is because he just could not take bumps well at all. I swear if I have to see that back body drop spot where he lands on his side again I will explode. Some other mentions: Bushwhackers, Tito Santana, SGT Slaughter, Sabu, Bubba Dudley. I'd also have to give a special mention to Dolph here, because the way he's built he should be a great bumper, his overselling is just ridiculous. Flair was in a plane wreck that severely injured his back and almost ended his career. He was kind of forced to take bumps that way. That doesn't excuse him from being horrendous though. And if his back was  ed, then he shouldn't have insisted on taking that idiotic back bump 6 times a match if he couldn't even do it properly. |

Curt Hennig, from around 90 onward, was ridiculously corny in his bumping and selling. Psst...sometimes less is more.
Rick Rude taking any kind of seat or sitting bump.
Dynamite Kid, only in his WWF run, waaayyyy too much, especially when the move wouldnt call for it....example, every single Maple Leaf Garden match he was ever in. Like Iron Shiek...sold and bumped the same way for every type of move.
Bret Hart...heck the whole Hart family. Generally they were okay, but the chest first corner bump? Talk about played out. Stu must have taught them that, and then it became a signature move that the whole family did in every match. Odd....hundreds of turnbuckle whips happen every match, they happen to have to go in chest first? Silly stuff. Im Stampede it must have been part of the contract, because all of the wrestlers did it in that territory, but all dropped it as soon as they left. JYD, Jake, Ben Bassarab, Singh, etc all did the chest bump there. Hokey stuff.
Arn Anderson and Bob Orton could be teaching them all a lesson.

I won't lie, i used to love the way The Rock and Scott Hall sold moves. It was over the top I know, but I enjoyed it.

Actually, the Harts' going chest first makes a lot of sense when you think about it. Since your momentum isn't shifting, it would theoretically leave more time to escape the corner. Also, the Sharpshooter requires strength in the legs and back, meaning it would be smarter to take the bump chest first. For that same reason, Michaels and Flair should have kayfabe taken the bump that way due to their bad backs as opposed to wasting all that energy flipping up the turnbuckle. |

Scott Hall took Austin's Stunner worse than even Vince McMahon, who used to botch it pretty badly for awhile. Oh please....  I think that's terrible. he just bends over then jumps back as hard as he can. |

I honestly think the Stunner is a terrible move to try and sell. this is true. but some take it somewhat well, by going down with it. my problem with Hall is he just stands there and jumps back. Rock took it bad too, would go down, then flop backwards upside down into the ropes and crap. |

I think the Rock's early Stunner sells were fantastic. The flamboyant character grew, and so did the selling.

I always thought that HBK took the pedigree really badly each time Triple H gave it to him. As people have said, Rocky selling the stunner was always cheesy and looked bad. Scott Hall would sell Jeff Hardy's twist of fate in TNA like it was a stone cold stunner. That always made for some interesting sells. I never liked how Lex Luger would sell getting punched either. It was almost comical. He would yell a lot, and wave his arms around. Yes to Luger. I can't keep a straight face watching his matches. Even a basic kick to his stomach and he's screaming like someone castrated him. |

He's one of my favorites but, Hands Down - "Rowdy" Roddy Piper couldn't take a move to save his life....
He'd usually just collapse like a sack of potatoes. I remember being SHOCKED when he took an Outsider's Edge in WCW..... it was the most offense I'd ever see him take.

Rob Van Dam never sold well and Miz never catches people on suicide dives. I'd disagree with RVD. While he was over the top with his selling, it wasn't to an unbelievable point most of the time. It was to a point in which he made the move look extremely impactful. |

Sabu and RVD were never great at selling unless it was a high spot, a hardcore spot (barbed wire, tables) or RVD's frog splash, which he always sold as if his ribs exploded into a fine powder. Selling his own offensive finisher so hard made it hard to believe because if it hurt RVD that badly, there's no way he'd do it every single match.
Aside from that, many of the luchadores, particularly from the mid-to-late 90s, bother me with extra-light sell jobs. If they're between dives or ranas, sometimes they'd transition into the next high spot with a few punches or kicks. But they'll be so focused on the next high spot that they don't even sell the punches/kicks anyway, so it makes the guy on offense look really weak, and completely removes the illusion that a punch or a kick might be a damaging move.
If a guy gets punched in the face, he should do more than flinch. He should act like a credible opponent just punched him in the face. Especially since 99% of the time it's a free shot that they don't even try to block.

I remember seeing an interview where SCSA said that The Rock and Scott Hall were his 2 favorite people that sold his stunner, with Rock being #2 and Hall being #1.
Also I hated how Cena sold a GTS from CM Punk cuz he would always take the knee strike to his chest instead of his face which I hated.
