So I watched NXT's Unstoppable last night. A few weeks ago I had a thread asking why people liked NXT so much, because of what I seen of it, I wasn't that impressed. But I ended up watching the show last night and I have to say I did enjoy it. I still think that fans chanting "holy s**t" over Finn Balor just walking to the ring is a bit too much, but his match with Breeze was good.
By anyway, to my original question at hand, does Triple H have total control over who signs with NXT, or does it still have to go through Vince McMahon??
I just wonder because I see guys in NXT who are pretty much main event stars there, and then that fear of them going to WWE Raw and becoming a mid card jobber. Perfect example is Bo Dallas. The dude from what I read was the man in NXT for a year or so, and then has done nothing in WWE. And now with Neville feuding with Dallas, that probably isn't a good sign for Neville at the moment.

Triple H has final say who gets hired. Vince McMahon hasn't been in charge of hiring people since that days Jim Ross was the head of Talent Relations. Now that Triple H is in that role, he has say who gets hired and who we see on NXT TV every week.

I believe it's Triple H, but I would assume Vince McMahon has some say over it.

Kurt Angle said that when he got in touch with Vince a few months back, he was told that Hunter handles all talent relations now.

Seemed like when ESPN did that short feature on Adam Rose, Xavier Woods, etc. that Triple H headed a group that decided on that stuff.

Kurt Angle said that when he got in touch with Vince a few months back, he was told that Hunter handles all talent relations now. That sounds about right.

I don't care what anyone says. The future with Hunter at the helm is bright.

I believe Triple H calls the shots. He's the head guy down there.

I would imagine it's Triple H.
Perhaps I'm wrong, but I just don't think guys like Kevin Owens and Samoa Joe would ever get signed if Vince was doing the legwork. He's got a very specific look in mind, he always has, and they don't cut it. Not to mention, in Joe's case, there's always been talk of guys having the TNA "stink" on them. Which, honestly, seems pretty accurate. WWE seems to have a decent relationship with most of the other companies, TNA being the sole exception.

He explains it in his post. He wasn't impressed, but watched Unstoppable and enjoyed it. He was curious about the question he asked.

Triple H, though it's William Regal who finds the majority of them.

I said I wasn't impressed with what I had seen of NXT before, so I gave it a chance last night and I enjoyed it and thus had a question regarding it.

Like everyone else said HHH. However, he NEEDS to sign Santana Garnett/Brittany to the performance centre or NXT its self. I wish she was signed when she made a cameo match last time
