I understand that Cena probably made that kid's year. The kid was happy and that's awesome! Other than that, I was offended by this segment. It makes me really mad that John Cena brings Make A Wish Kids and Soldiers into his character. I understand what he is doing is nice, but why can't he keep his charity private? When him and the WWE exploit his charity and bring it onto TV that automatically makes them part of a storyline (in my eyes at least). One problem, he isn't fully over. To me, I see this as an exploitation of the make a wish kids who go through hell and who's parents go through hell to try and beat cancer. Cena just exploits that as part of a story-line, or to try and get himself over. It makes me sick. All due respect to the make a wish kid last night, Her night was made. But the way I see it and the way others see it are completely different. Especially since that article that Justin Roberts put out about WWE exploiting Connor the Crusher to make their company look better. Just my opinion. LOL yeah ok, making somebody feel good and doing something nice for them is exploitation. ![](http://i.imgur.com/C4rJB94.gif)

I said Cena probably made that girl's year and that's awesome. After what Justin Roberts wrote in his article about the WWE Exploiting Connor "The Crusher" for publicity, I saw this as the same thing. Let's get out of the WWE Bubble for a minute, If Hillary Clinton used a kid with Cancer as part of her election campaign (even if she was just trying to be nice) the other campaign leaders, the news, and the intelligent voters would be all over her and labeling her for exploitation. It's the same thing with Cena. Cena is NOT 100% over. So they pull a stunt like this so that "you have to respect him" and people like me see right through that. I don't respect people who market their charity work, I don't think it's right because it's clear exploitation. He could have made that kid's year in a private fashion as well. But no matter how many times I say "Just my opinion" I'm still going to get stupid replies like this.

There's a pretty huge difference between a presidential campaign and a promo on Raw..

Was their real motive to make that sick childs year? A little bit. In my opinion, that child on Raw was used to market Cena and the WWE more than actually helping a sick child. I think this because I've seen the WWE doing this before, and it has come out that their real motive was different than the perception. It is like a presidential campaign btw. Marketing a superstar and marketing a party leader using a sick child is a justifiable comparison. Say what you want.

Kevin Owens' promo on Smackdown was phenomenal. Calling John Cena delusional and that he corrupts the minds of children. God, Owens' character is so good.

I firmly believe that if John Cena himself went into a laboratory and came out with a cure for all cancers, there would still be those that find fault in it.

These things are not John Cena's fault. Listen to the Punk interview with Colt Cabana.....the only people that WWE publicizes doing charity work are the top few guys like John Cena and Randy Orton. CM Punk said that when he was Champion he tried to do everything John Cena did and he said he did just as many charity and make-a-wish meetings as John Cena, and WWE didn't publicize one of them.
I think people have this idea that John Cena is egotistical and John Cena is just looking to get himself over and he uses kids with cancer as a way to make himself look like a great guy....but really, it's not John Cena. It's Vince McMahon.

I am Mason's (the cancer kid) step dad. I can assure everyone that I paid for the tickets and Mason was not a "plant". Mason has found a place of refuge and hope in the WWE over the last 14 months of his fight against lukemia. His mother and I do everything we can to support him in his love of wrestling. Everything that occurred on Monday was spontaneous and a surprise to Mason, his sister and myself. WWE is a class organization that has participated in many make a wish kids and are to be commended for what they do. Mason has still not come down from the experience on Monday night. I am writing this from the waiting room at the children's hospital wher Mason is receiving a lumbar puncture and chemo infusion. The Internet exposure has continued to put a smile on his face while he continues his own fight.

Lol. Of course. Whenever someone has an unpopular opinion, all the PC police come out of their taverns and use their flaming fingers to attack them. When are people going to grow up?

If Cena would tighten up on that STF then he might actually be able to defeat cancer someday.
