This is just a question I have for everyone, I honestly have no idea. Do you think WWE pushes people way too hard on Tough Enough? Like all the stuff they did on the Network special? If they had just come in on a tryout or what have you, do you think they would be pushed that hard physically? Or do you think they play it up on Tough Enough so the TV audience can see "how hard it is to be a WWE Superstar""?
Nothing against the guy personally, but I am not a fan of ZZ. He is clearly cast as the usual reality show "likable character" but I don't see it. Showing how all the other contestants love ZZ "because he's ZZ, man!" I just do not understand it. At all.
The judging also threw me a lot. "This isn't a place to smile and make jokes!" "You always have to be able to laugh at yourself." "I want to see you train and with a smile on your face!" I feel like they were throwing so many different signals at these people.
Based on looks alone, I could see Patrick winning the male side of things. I feel the women's side is up in the air. Could be Daria.

Could be Daria. Everything I've heard about tryouts make it seem like it would be just as hard as what they had to do on screen for Tough Enough. I recall one from I think two years back with Adam Cole and Mike Bennett that made it out to be designed to put the guys through hell. Realistically, it seemed like it was what you'd expect and nothing too serious. They took the medical precautions with everyone and it honestly seemed to be more motivational for the guys and girls as long as you did what you were asked. Example, Stephen was in the role of the smug, arrogant one, so Billy was harder on him. Then there was one of the guys who I don't remember almost quitting but the one blonde trainer girl coaxed him into continuing basically saying, "No, don't quit, keep it up." I feel that they want this middle ground of good TV but they want to make sure these people are making the most of this in a positive way. The first day at any wrestling school is designed to weed people out through conditioning. Day two seemed to be more weights stuff, which is probably hard in its own right but necessary, and then I'm assuming day three was more promo based and the in-ring stuff from day one. Especially compared to Demott horror stories and the tryouts apparently being hard too, this was basically what I expected. The judging was pretty all over the place. Jericho is like the perfect host and I love how he's the total reality show host trope. Booker had flashback from The Young Bucks that he relived with the Kingdom Twins. /s. I think ZZ is fine for comic relief, but I don't really care all that much about him. |

WWE TOUGH ENOUGH UPDATES

WWE issued a press release for 'Tough Talk' hosted by The Miz, to air on WWE Network immediately following WWE Tough Enough. The release noted that outside of the US, Tough Enough will air live on OSN Sports 2 HD across the Middle East and North Africa, Ten Sports in the Indian subcontinent, Cielo in Italy and on YouTube around the rest of the world.
The WWE Tough Enough (@wwetoughenough) twitter feed posted a video of Canyon Cemen telling Mike Hayes when his body is ready, he will have an opportunity in WWE. All he has to do is email Canyon when he feels he is ready to come back to the WWE Performance Center and they will make it happen. He added all the details are "to be determined", and they honor their word.

That's really cool that they would do that for Mike Hayes. He seems like the kind of person that would be good for the company. Even in a non wrestling role behind the scenes he could contribute in a positive way.

That is really nice of them to give him another shot.
As for 'Tough Talk' I'll check it out.
Hopefully it is a fun watch otherwise I will stop watching it.

This is entirely unrelated, but I can't get over how much more attractive Paige is in "regular" pictures than she is in photoshoots and on TV.

I find it weird though that they'd cut two girls back to back, especially with there being one fewer girls than guys. That would be pretty weird but I am still sorta nervous. They could have quit voluntarily (in that case  them) but they also could have gotten more medical/background tests done that got them DQ'd.. I guess we'll find out soon enough. |

The contestants were supposed to be go train but instead went to the mall. Paige surprised them.
Dianna and/or Gabi could have 1) Not went to the mall and instead went to train or done something else.
2) Went to the mall with the others and could have been somewhere else in the mall when that group photo with Paige was taken.
Speaking of Gabi.....

Sorry to double post but I am still unsure about Gabi and Dianna. They either are training 24/7 and or are not liked at all by their fellow contestants because when the cast went to dinner they were MIA! @toughalexf "Night out with the Tough Enough squad! @toughamanda @toughdaria @toughgiorgia @toughhank @toughjoshua @toughmada"
