R.I.P Dusty Rhodes. One of THE best workers and talkers ever in my book and always has been. Is Dusty in the HOF? if not I bet he goes in next year and rightfully so. Ah man.....very sad news indeed. Yeah, he went was put in, in 2007. Cody and Dustin inducted him. Cheers man it was one of things where I knew as soon as I posted I KNEW he had gone in......I went over to Classics to start a Dusty appreciation thread ASAP. Everybody go participate.

Rip Dusty. There was no bigger star in this sport prior to Hogan than Dusty.
If not the best, one of the top 2 or 3 promo guys ever in the business. Sad news.

ok just read about Christopher Lee...That was gaspable.
This is just surreal... an essential part of the "soul" of wrestling and just damn saddening to hear. RIP.
"This isn't funny anymore...."

It's already been a long day for me,... cat situations, then learning sir Christopher Lee had passed on.. and now,..learning this.
We lost a Charismatic, awesome entertainer, champion... a true legend.... RIP Dream.... I'll never forget you.

Dusty will always be an absolute legend. From what I know he helped FCW/NXT into what it is today, and for that alone, would be commendable. But, the incredible wrestling career too? Astonishing. RIP Dusty!

This deeply saddens me. Especially out of the blue like this. He's been such a crucial piece and mind of the business. He will be greatly be missed.

In 1990 at the Pittsburgh Civic Arena, I saw Dusty Rhodes and Sapphire, with Elizabeth in their corner vs. Randy Savage and Queen Sherri. Not a single one of them still with us. Heartbreaking. RIP, Dream.

I am much more sad about this than I ever could have imagined I'd be. I can't honestly say he was ever a favorite of mine but he truly was one of the best talkers I ever had the pleasure of listening to. He's one of those guys that you just can't imagine not being around.
RIP Dream. I'm in total shock and fighting tears right now.
