For my TNA diary in the sims board Dusty Rhodes is my onscreen management representative, GM, Commisioner type. Earlier today I happened to write a promo for Rhodes it was decent.
Decent doesn't seem good enough anymore. I will pay my respects to Dusty in my own way in my diary but for now.
Sweet dreams Dusty!

That is sad to hear. Dusty did live the "American Dream". Maybe now they'll finally have Cody drop the Stardust gimmick.

Shocking, considering how active and involved he still was with WWE. Rest in peace.

whoever is running the WWE's twitter should sit back for a minute and think about how ![](http://www.wrestlingfigs.com/images/wfcensored.gif) ing STUPID they are for posting a hundred tough enough videos while their employees are paying tribute to a ![](http://www.wrestlingfigs.com/images/wfcensored.gif) ing LEGEND. it's kind of stupid to scroll through a bunch of very nicely worded tribute/RIP tweets and then see "____ had a tough tryout today!!"

Got back home just as the news broke and saw it all over Twitter. This came out of nowhere ![:(](http://www.wrestlingfigs.com/images/sad.gif) RIP Dusty. Seeing all the pictures of him on Twitter is breaking my heart, very rarely was he not smiling. I wonder if Cody will possibly go back to being Cody Rhodes at MITB or Raw. The tribute to him will be emotional no doubt.

I doubt we'll see Cody at MITB or Raw but I think it would be a great tribute to Dustys Legacy if they actually started taking one of his kids seriously... Cody has alot of potential just not with the Stardust Gimmick. I just wish Dusty could have got to see A Cody vs Goldust match @ Wrestlemania...

I dont want to believe this. I really want to just think that we're gonna watch Tough Enough or NXT or something and the Midnight Rider is gonna walk out.

I'm devastated. I can't express how much I loved Dusty Rhodes. From the time I started watching wrestling in 1981 until now. I was so happy when I got to see him fight Flair live at Starrcade 85 as a kid. It was truly wonderful. I met him a few times and he was incredibly nice and genuine. I'll miss him very much. He was a great wrestler and by all accounts I've heard, a great man.

R.I.P Dusty Rhodes. I always enjoyed seeing him and hearing him cut a promo. Dusty knew how to make what he was saying exciting with the charisma he possessed within him. Dusty will be missed and I wish his family the best in these hard times.
