I miss seeing CM Punk in the ring and on the mic. I totally respect his decision to leave, and even support it, but I'd be lying if I said I don't miss him. He was one the most original and honest wrestlers we've ever seen among a sea of hypocrites and suck-ups. Even if he never makes an in-ring return, at least I got to see him wrestle ringside at a house show where he defended the WWE Championship in a 2 out of 3 falls match against Dolph Ziggler - a match I would consider a dream match.
Do you miss him?

I think I was slightly bitter about the way he left for a while even though I realise he doesn't owe me anything. The thing is, I wasn't even a HUGE fan of his anyway. He's a hell of a worker and personality that's for sure. He's one of those guys though, there's so much you can do with him if he's booked right.
EDIT: Didn't really answer the question. I wouldn't say I miss him, but I've certainly appreciated him a lot more since he's left.

I do too. He was always one of the more entertaining/interesting parts of the show.

Me too. Honestly I think him leaving was somewhat of a nail in the coffin for me as a fan.

The opening riff of his music, along with Brock Lesnar's, was one of the only things that immediately made me snap my attention to the TV.
Like him or not out of character, he was grand television day in and day out.

The company as a whole has changed so much since he left. I wish he was still around to be part of the rise of guys like Owens and Rollins. Punk is and always will be one of my all time favorites.

I know I do. I was like everyone and pissed off at the time when he left. But now that we know the reasons , I'm just glad the guy's happy.
I would rather him be happy and not wrestle than to be unhappy and wrestle.

I do miss him, yeah. But WWE goes on, and rightfully so. I'm looking forward to seeing him in UFC, though.

I loved Punk as an in ring entertainer. One of my favorite ever to watch.
But since he left we got Bryan winning at WM31, the rise of NXT, Samoa Joe, The WWE Network, Sting's WWE debut, The Shield split, & Kevin Owens making his mark. So though I wish Punk was still around to be involved, I wouldn't say I miss him since IMO WWE has been so entertaining as of late.

life goes on
but i miss the hell out of CM Punk honestly as much as im enjoying the rise of Seth Rollins, and now Kevin Owens. The other fun stuff like tag team wrestling. Dean Ambrose, guys like Ryback, Ziggler, Sheamus still entertaining....
I keep thinking about all the GREAT stuff I could have been seeing with CM Punk. I hate that it all went down the way it did. I hate that they never really "liked" him....that he never became one of "the guys" I hate that his career had to stop the way it did I hate that even though I'm sure in a few more years bygones will be bygones and all will be forgiven blah blah...but this will always be a sort of asterisk on Punk's career
every single time I knew he was gonna be on RAW I was looking forward to that music hitting. Whether promo or match, I knew I was gonna enjoy it. There's just a void that's still there without the guy. It's not the worst thing ever, It's not the end of wrestling as we know it, but it just sucks.

Totally. I get why he was done, all good...but man I'd love to see him work with so many of the guys coming up.

Yes, very much so. Punks 'pipebomb' is what got me back into wrestling. Wish he was still around.

Yeah, pretty much weekly. Just the promos, the character, and his presence. It honestly hurts to see him in interviews say he has absolutely no desire to be in a wrestling ring right now.
This is similar to the HBK stuff though. I don't feel cheated in anyway that he walked away. I feel he was cheated because he never got a main event but that's about it. He entertained me for years. That Vegas promo, MITB, I felt like my team won the Super Bowl, and I'll never forget that feeling as long as I live. Plus, Punk seems to be happier and healthier than he's ever been before. I'm excited for more of the comic book stuff, and I can't wait to see him fight, and I hope he ends up in movies and on Walking Dead at some point too.
He'll forever be one of my all time favorites, and he's the Macho Man of this generation to Cena's Hogan. Whenever he's ready to come back, if he's ever ready to come back, I'll welcome the return with wild applause.

I hope he does come back as a part timer just to see IWC's hypocrisy.
