I don't like him, I don't really hate him, he's just there. I'm assuming him winning MITB was to help him get over that, but really it still doesn't make a difference. It's total apathy.

Sheamus has been ok......I just don't think he should be Mr. Money in the Bank because that means that in the next year he's probably going to be WWE Champion.
I think he's good in the mid-card. He would be a good challenger for Ryback's IC Title, or John Cena's U.S Title.....but I just do not like the idea of the entire show revolving around Sheamus. I don't think he's got the charisma, the acting ability, or the star power.
I would have much rather had Roman Reigns have the Money in the Bank.

Don't get me wrong I love Sheamus' in ring work. It's just that his character is so bleak and dry which makes it hard for me to get behind the guy.

Except wrestling. His hard hitting style has consistently delivered entertaining bouts for several years now. I just don't see it. I can't think of one match at all where he impressed me. Night Of Champions last year against Cesaro was damn good man. So were his 2012 outings against Big Show & Daniel Bryan. To name a few that is yknow? But hey different strokes for different folks!! |

He's an odd choice to win MITB but the guy puts on amazing matches. I'd give his new direction some more time. It could end up being awesome.

He needs a personality transplant. His work rate and physical stature don't make up for his total inability to connect with the audience. We're talking about a 2x WWE Champion, a Royal Rumble Winner, a KOTR winner, a former WHC, and a MITB winner and the audience STILL doesn't give a  about him. "ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED?!" I'm not. I think he's one of the most constant guys on the roster. I do wish WWE would let him unleash the beast a bit more, but I'm a big Sheamus fan. Dude is as legit as they come IMO.

I've been a Sheamus fan for a while, but I thought he was getting incredibly stale as a babyface before his injury.
I was excited to see him return as a heel, but he just...hasn't been doing it for me. I don't know what it is, I just don't care. It could have a lot to do with who he's been working with - it's all stuff we've seen before, dozens of times.
Also, the braids in the beard look absolutely ridiculous. The mohawk is fine, but come on.

I'm not disappointed in sheamus, I did want him to win money in the bank , this whole gimmick would work if he wasn't put in that dumb gimmick match ( kiss me arse ) have him lose to Ziggler of all people , and dumb feuds ( Ziggler , now orton ) they should've had him let destroy people after the Daniel Bryan thing , but sheamus will put on a great match with anyone, it's just if you constantly give him the same people to work with the matchs become stale , and not just him but both characters become stale

I've always enjoyed him, but I don't like him being Mr. MITB. Unless it gets us Sheamus vs Lesnar that is.

Much like Del Rio before he got fired, they've invested a lot of stock into Sheamus and nobody really cares. Those two are the living proof that you can put all the accolades and put all the titles you want on someone, that still doesn't make them a star.
While Sheamus is a great wrestler, he's still not the total package.
Big dude - yes
Unique look - yes
Great talker- no
Charisma - ehh
crowd connection - ehhh

I'm a huge Rollins fan and they need to leave Sheamus the away from this match. Let Rollins go ou there and look like a diamond, but I hope they still have faith in him and don't expect shamus vs Brock for the title I won't watch a wwe title match event with that match.. |

He's one of the few guys matches on raw I just don't care for. Even when he went against one of my faves, Ambrose, I honestly just couldn't care
