Nothing against his in-ring work, the guy is just a bore.

Sorry K5 I haven't been lashing out at all.....some of the Sheamus hate has been quite unreasonable in this thread and Im calling them out. If you don't agree with it that's your problem. How an intelligent poster such as yourself could travel down this road and defend some of the rubbish(not peoples opinions that different.... if you were to read more closely you would see that) but the absolute mauling of reason here is odd to me. For instance in another Sheamus thread(that's on the front page) a guy laid out why he didn't find Sheamus entertaining.....I laid out a match or two and he said it wasn't for him and stated why......I said that was cool and said "different strokes for different folks". The guy wasn't losing his marbles on a keyboard talking about skintone and hair styles......so that renders your opinion of my "hypocrisy"(lol) null, void and absolutely redundant. BUT I will have to give you some allowance here as I remember back...... you often misunderstand and come to the rescue of the "little guy" when I'm involved. That's your gimmick.....I'm used to it by now and always find it amusing....your just playing your part. how is the hate unreasonable if it's their opinion? how is it instantaneously a bandwagon if people are tending to agree? 2/3 of the thread don't enjoy sheamus, yet it's the 1/3 that does that seems to be lashing out at anyone. do me a favour and quote one time other than the nut hanging comment where people are 'quite unreasonable' in this thread. skin tone and hair color is part of the look of a wrestler, which yes, is a huge part of their marketability and character. i was unaware that was my gimmick, but that's not the worst way of being perceived i suppose, so oh well. talk about making it needlessly personal...but whatever. i don't understand why it has to be a us vs them mentality as soon as people dislike something. people can hate sheamus if they want to...this is hardly the first thread where people are calling him a goofball. using one or two people's negative viewpoints as a basis for what the reasoning is behind a group of people's thoughts is incredibly small minded and in my opinion a way of undermining the true lack of popularity overall of sheamus (at least on this board). yeah I see the real story here now.....I was going to ignore this rubbish but because of the undercurrent I don't see why I should. For YEARS on here Myself and others have taken sh*t about enjoying Sheamus in ring work and have always said his character needed work......so you need'nt pull the "us vs them " bull with me. My opinion on Shemaus has NEVER been respected and I have put up with countless slurs against my nationality over it......didn't you know "I only enjoy him because we are both Irish"-so don't bother going there K5. Its a sh*t color on you. Also your the one who made it personal by calling me a hypocrite.....so your the small minded one pal. Also your perceived split of the love/hate for Sheamus is WAY off. But I don't expect you to acknowledge that either. If I had seen your earlier comments in this thread I would have just written off replying to you at all.

I couldn't disagree more. In fact, I'd dislike this post if I could. Also, I find it hilarious how some of the haters are the ones taking shots at the Sheamus fans with snide comments. I mean, how much more pathetic can you get to insult a fan who likes something you don't? that's happening both ways. don't make it an us vs them thing, a whopping majority of people simply do not like sheamus and the ones who like him seem displeased with this fact and quick to label it a bandwagon. look at my posts throughout the years - i have never once said i've liked sheamus or enjoyed what he's done. in fact, he's caught flack for years so why this is new to any sheamus fans is beyond me. I'm not saying anything but the truth. I said some, not all, and some, but not all, are really making a point to poke fun at the fans.

You could show me all the matches that you think are entertaining, but I just dont like to look at him. Its like Drakes music. You can go on and on about his talent or w/e, but I dont wanna hear his voice.

I like Sheamus, but I want him nowhere near the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

Throw ADR and Barrett in there as well. "Good workers" that just do nothing for me in "sports entertainment."

It should be working so well too.
When I first saw the new look I was very excited.
Then he stopped screaming Fella and started screaming that Irish war cry and using that cool lighting for his entrance. Screaming a famous ,fitting quote from a movie called "The Warriors". It was all so good on paper. I was Even more excited.
Then somehow he still managed to fall flat. He's got such a vast variety of moves, works so well (albeit stiff) and he can talk, there's no doubting that. But he still isn't making it work. And I just don't understand the reasoning. I was gutted when he won MITB. Im not sure if it's a case of him having been too rushed early on and using up of his shelflife or what. But it's a sheamufl thing.

Great performer but they dropped the ball with him again within about a month of his return. He came back, had an awesome angle where he was bullying the Ds and they were standing up to him, but it quickly just turned into the standard "I win this week, you win next week" midcard nonsense. Now, like pretty much everyone else on the roster, he spends too much time having pointless wrestling matches and too little time making us care about his upcoming important wrestling matches. Hopefully the briefcase win changes this.
I could see Sheamus cashing in being the thing to turn Rollins face. Sheamus is a much better choice for the Authority's guy, really. If that's the way it goes, I hope he does better with it than Orton did.

I have a feeling he is going to beat Brock Lesnar at Summerslam and leave with the Title.

I have a feeling he is going to beat Brock Lesnar at Summerslam and leave with the Title. I wouldn't like to see that. I'm a fan of Sheamus obviously but I don't see him as a guy who should beat Brock unless he cheats heavily to do it. I always wanted him to go down swinging after an epic brawl between the two. Heel Sheamus decreases the likelihood of that occurrence sadly.
