For any World Class Championship Wrestling fans, or for any old school wrestling fan, heck for anyone who's seen the WCCW documentary that WWE made, I found this documentary called Heroes of World Class, which is a more detailed documentary of WCCW. I remember always hearing about this documentary whenever Kevin Castle of the Don Tony and Kevin Castle Show mentioned the documentary whenever WCCW was mentioned. I've seen it today, and it's very good. I recommend everyone to see this.

Actually saw this one before the WWE one. It's very good.

I too saw this documentary before the WWE released one, and I preferred this one better.
Though I gotta say, it's not really a documentary about WCCW, it's more of a list of wrestlers who died while being there. WCCW had so much potential but because of deaths it just started to crumble big time.

WCCW had so much potential but because of deaths it just started to crumble big time. The deaths that followed the Von Erich's as well as the entire promotion is why the WWE titled their WCCW documentary, "The Triumph & Tragedy of World Class Championship Wrestling". Shortly after "Heroes of World Class" was released, Kevin Von Erich sold the WCCW library to the WWE.

I own it and the special edition that they put out. I, and my brother, thought it was far better than the WWE version. The stuff with Kevin going back to the sportatorium was great stuff, although a little depressing to say the least. I did not grow up watching world class, it was a little before my time, but my brother used to have comp tapes of A majority of Kerry's matches and I watched those with him ever night! I loved World Class the first time that I ever saw it and I still love it more than anything else that I actually grew up with! In fact, my favorite rivalry of all time is Kerry vs Kamala!

Gary Hart's book, which has been getting much more attention due to Steve Austin's endorsements, is still a holy grail of mine.

great documentary and captures the spirit of what WCCW was. Truly a group plagued by tragedy though.
