Going by what I have been noticing in my area, I believe these would do well. Hogan, Flair, Hart etc. fly off the shelf. I would love to have an exclusive "Throwback" Basic Series with the following:
- Big John Studd
- Honky Tonk Man
- Kamala
- Hillbilly Jim
- Jimmy Snuka
- Don Muraco
I noticed that many stores I visit have plenty Cesaro's in stock.....way too many.

I can imagine Elites would go but the problem is kids wouldn't be interested in the basics of those guys and they are the key demographic for the basic figures

A throwback/flashback/legends line won't work. When we had the elite line of legends I saw 10-15 jimmy Snukas everywhere I went. I'm happy with the way they are doing things now. 1-3 flashbacks in basics and or elites per series.

I hear what you guys are saying, but I am talking just one time on the basic series. Right now, the shelves where I live have a ton of Cesaro and Cena figures hanging around forever, but the Legends seem to move very fast.

I hear what you guys are saying, but I am talking just one time on the basic series. Right now, the shelves where I live have a ton of Cesaro and Cena figures hanging around for ever, but the Legends seem to move very fast. Because there are less of them. Hogan's been packed heavy and he sitting on my shelves. Same with JYD. |

All of these throwback basics they've released to date have been packed so heavy that they're clogging up the shelves with Daniel Bryan and cesaro. About every place I visit there's 5-10 hogans, 7-12 flairs and 5-8 booker t's. I still see the summer slam set with throwback taker and triple h warming a lot of places too. Recently I've seen a crapload of steamboat and mankind. I'd personally rather see flashbacks or throwbacks in elite fashion if they're gonna make them.

Your stores are ordering too many cases at once. I check everywhere near me regularly and never once saw a mankind or steamboat. I've only seen the new wm set with hogan, flair and booker at 1 store. The problem is that stores do not understand nor care about the way they should go about ordering new stock. As long as the shelves are stocked, they could care less if it's 20 Cesaros, if people don't buy them, great! That means that they don't have to do any extra work. |

I have not seen Steamboat or Mankind either. It has to be a distribution issue in my area. With the HOF Target exclusives, I find it very easy to find Stone Cold and Warrior, but I have only seen Sgt. Slaughter twice. |
