100% matter of opinion, within reason obviously. Someone could say Sylvester Terkay and they'd be completely  ing wrong. My opinion, the overall #1 Superstar in WWF/E history is The Undertaker. But I wouldn't try to argue Hogan/Austin/Rock/Shawn Michaels though |

HBK is the greatest of all time imo.
If we're talking from a commercial standpoint, Hogan is the reason we got married, Austin is the reason we didn't get divorced. WWE wouldn't exist without either one of them.

Nah, but most likely Shawn Michaels. He's really hit every stage of WWE, Tag Underdog, Tag Champion, Badass stable, Lackey (JBL) Rumble Winner, Wins the big one, loses the big one, Midcard champ.
There's not much left he could've done.

I'm not a fan, but there is a definite correct answer, and that is Hulk Hogan. This isn't a matter of opinion. But it IS a matter of an opinion, just like everything else. There's not really a right or wrong answer, it depends on people's point of view. |

I think this question would be easier if you broke it down into different eras.
Trying to compare Bruno to Hulk to Cena is difficult because of how drastically the industry has changed in those eras.

From a Kayfabe point of view, Brock Lesnar, look at who he's beat and his resume.
As a wrestling draw, then It would be Stone Cold, with Hogan as a close second.
As a box office attraction, then easily The Rock.
Wrestling wise? Shawn Michaels.

i say the greatest of all time is a tie between Shawn Michaels and Chris Jericho, just my opinion. They are also my 2 favorites of all time.

Triple H, when I was growing up watching wrestling HHH was one of the best heels in the company. A close second is definitely Undertaker.

The answer is hands down Hulk Hogan, no questions asked. Here's the reasons....
First you take a guy like Bruno. Bruno was a huge name and a great star but Bruno as champion of the WWWF still didnt have the company as #1. The "World Champion" during Bruno's reign was still considered the NWA Champion. Bruno defended his title mostly in the Northeast as a territory champion whereas guys like Thez, Race, Brisco & Funk would defend theirs all over the globe.
Secondly you have guys that are honestly "2nd tier guys" (dont make it sound worse then it is) These are great stars but realistically they were never "the guy". Ultimate Warrior, Macho Man, The Rock & The Undertaker etc...All great talents, legends & Hall of Famers but they were always a slight notch behind Hulk Hogan & Steve Austin
Which brings me to #3. Steve Austin is without a doubt one of the biggest names in wrestling. However he falls just a notch below Hogan and its nothing that he did but what Hogan did. Hogan unquestionably was the #1 guy in the 80s early 90s. He put pro wrestling on the map. In the mid 90s Steve Austin started his rise but what caused his rise wasnt just a push. Remember, he was The Ringmaster and stuck with another gimmick of McMahon. What ultimately started the rise of Steve Austin was Hulk Hogan reinventing himself in WCW. Hogan turns heel and WCW becomes more "realistic" (Using real names and not characters like Hall instead of Razor, Nash instead of Diesel etc) and then in turn putting WWE back to the wall. That in turn makes Vince allow his starts to be more themselves and less of a character. Thus we get Stone Cold Steve Austin. On the wrestling rating scale. Hulk Hogan is a perfect 10. Steve Austin is a 9.9.
