The construction is better - hinged legs allowing outward movement and rotating elbows instead of unsightly ball-shoulders. The play value is 1000x more. The price is about the same on the smaller sets, making that a better deal for CAS.
Plus the tattoos work great!

I'm a Basics guy, so I'll respectfully disagree.

If basics even had those legs theyd be a million times better. Even if the legs were further apart like wcw toybiz figs theyd be better

I like them, I hope they are successful, because the generic heads are great. The legs work great. The arm articulation is good, It is how the modern gi joes are articulated. The accessories are pretty cool. I hope it goes for a few years because then that would give a plethora of parts to make different guys and gimmicks.

Agreed 100000000%. Perfect articulation.

I agree. I love the articulation and the over all look of the body structure compared to basics.

The leg articulation is no doubt superior to basics, but I very much prefer the bicep swivel than the forearm rotating at the elbow. A simple headlock is awkward without the bicep rotating.

I'll have to disagree. Love the arm swivel. Though I wish the basics had the "CAW's" leg articulation, that would be cool!

I like both basic and CAS for their own respectful differences but I'll will admit that I absolutely love CAS and hope they will continue for a very long time

I agree with the articulation Stanpoint but the scale sucks.. And details.. Less than basic details out of scale and weird accessories. If I collected either, I'd go with basics for sure. Now if they fixed the scale issue I'd probably buy some

I think that the functionality of the CAW wrestlers is negated by how ugly it looks. I have no problem with basics and know that basic guys tend to specifically like the streamlined look that comes from lack of articulation.

I don't get people complaining about scale on the CAW, they are all about the same height as basics and elites.

Im pleased with them. Can pick them up cheap enough for custom parts or head swaps. Ill probably snag half or so.

I agree the articulation is better, but no... Just no. And I'm someone who likes the CAS figures. I only need Rock & HHH. I don't get people complaining about scale on the CAW, they are all about the same height as basics and elites. Scale is about more than height. That's not the problem. There's no "scale" to them because they all are supposed to match. John Cena, Kane, and Bray Wyatt all have the same size torso and legs.a
