He was reckless in the ring, injury prone and sucked at promos. What is there to like? He did have a cool finisher that someone should bring back. |

Also, I remember hearing rumours that Ahmed was a pimp and used to make his ladies lick his butt after a dump thus using the girls tongues as toilet paper. Freaking gross!! I doubt it's really true, but that's the rumour I heard a lot back in like 1999 I wanna say. My god this is funny |

He did have a cool finisher that someone should bring back. "Pearl River Rip" is one of my favorite themes of all time, as well. Shame they never recycled it for someone else. |

Why does he get a lot of hate? I remember I started watching in mid 97 and getting old tapes from 96 I saw Ahmed and I enjoyed his work. Re watching raw and I'm in 96 and I still enjoy his character and all. His promos might be a little off and hard to understand but so is bookert lol. I know his injuries messed up career in the wwf as late 97 came along he looked huge. I think he was a great ic champ. Was that kidney injury real? Or kayfabe There was a time when I believed Ahmed might be a future world champion. When he slammed Yokozuna on Raw, I came out of my seat in disbelief. He had a unique look and had amazing body control for such a big guy. In many ways, he was a predecessor to the Goldberg character. His decline seems to be multi-faceted. When he came back after the 4-month kidney hiatus, he was out of shape. Although he looked the same, he gassed quickly in matches. In addition to his reputation as being overly stiff, he was reported to have balked at a couple of jobs. Then he unexpectedly joined the NOD, and after a short period, he was feuding with them again. By mid-98 or so, the heat that he had in '96 was gone because fans didn't know what to make of him. |

i like when his voice cracks just a little in his crazy promos. I can fully believe his pimp rumours. I think Viscera was another one too, I seem to recall a photo floating around the interwebs of big Vis grabbing a handful of boob from a waitress. we all can't be a little bit racist.  |
