Yeah, I can't wait for this card... it sucks that Aldo pulled out, but the Mendes fight is just as good IMO - we're going to find out if Conor is the real-deal... and if he does beat Chad impressively, it'll make the Aldo fight even bigger! I'm really torn who to root for though - Chad's one of my favourite fighters, but I do like Conor's antics... love him or hate him, he's bringing a lot of interest and attention to MMA.
Lawler/MacDonald 2 should be great too... I'm a big Lawler fan, so hope he pulls off the win.

Well i see it as either we will get to see aldo/mendez 3 or aldo/mcgregor so either way its a win win for me

I watched the highlights on Fox Sports. Jesus! It looks like it was raining blood. i don't think I've ever seen a mat so covered in red after a UFC event. Must have been a hell of a night.
Lawler/MacDonald looked vicious. Those two beat the hell out of each other from the looks of it. Hell, both were unavailable for interviews because they went straight to the hospital.
McGregor/Mendes fight looked one sided in favor of Mendes but McGregor is a beast to come back and get a 2nd round TKO.
This is an event I may consider buying the PPV replay even though I already know the fight results.

Oh it was worth the 60 bucks, Lawler/MacDonald was a freaking war and the Mendes/McGregor fight was starting to become a bit one sided once Mendes started taking Conor down but Conor pulled it out which i really didnt think he was going to do,Hell even Jeremy Stephens vs Dennis Bermudiz was great too,you should for sure order the replay

Amazing show... one of the best UFCs ever. Lawler Vs MacDonald was just... WOW. I'm so pleased for Robbie, it was a great comeback after being so badly hurt (I think he was down 3-1 on all judges cards going into the 5th too). And Conor proved he is the real-deal... he kept his composure and was still trash-talking while Mendes was on top of him, lol. Awesome striking display to finish the fight... bring on Aldo!

Well i was really suprised Conor knocked out Chad when he did cause when Chad took him down i was like yeah this is it but he really showed he can back up his trash talk, now lets see if he has what it takes to take Aldo out,and looks like we will see Lawler/Hendricks 3 now as well and i actually thought Lawer won the first two and i felt Rory won the next two rounds,i really felt like the 5th round was gonna decide it

This PPV was worth every penny I paid. Now I normally don't order many UFC PPVs unless someone I'm a big fan of, like McGregor, Rousey, are on the card, but I enjoyed every fight. IMO the first two rounds of Lawler/McDonald were lacking action, but then it picked up in Round 3 and turned out great. The last UFC PPV I ordered was UFC 184, and I also liked almost all the fights. Hopefully UFC 190 is as good as UFC 189. As for Jose Aldo dropping out of the fight, I was very disappointed that he did. Whether it was because of injury, or because he couldn't make weight, it's very disappointing. Even though I like Conor McGregor, he needed to win this fight with Mendes to prove he can hang with a Top 5 fighter. I can truly see Dana White saving McGregor vs Aldo for UFC 200, though he probably won't make it the main event just in case Aldo pulls out again.

Last night was definitely the best PPV I've seen. I don't really like Lawler but that was one of the best comebacks I've ever seen. I hope we get Hendricks v Lawler 3 only because I'm a huge Hendricks fan(I was at Oklahoma State at the same time as him.)
I love Conor but I didn't think he had a chance versus Mendes. I've never jumped up and down or yelled like I did when he got the win last night.

It was one of the best shows i've ever seen. Connor McGregor is the biggest draw in the UFC today with Ronda Rousey a close 2nd. He need to work on his takedown defense since Chad Mendes took him down at will. Robbie Lawler vs. Rory McDonald was F#$king awesome, what a war.

I think UFC 200 is too far away for this fight... it's almost a year away. It's more likely to be on the end-of-year show in late December/first few days of January. A lot depends on Aldo though... Conor said he'd be willing to fight Frankie Edgar if Aldo is out a while, but Dana didn't seem keen on the idea (you can't really blame him, lol).

The British media are trying to claim McGregor as their own now.....absolutely pathetic. McGregor is touchy as f*ck about Ireland being commonly mentioned as part of the UK when we haven't been for nearly 100 years so its interesting to see will he respond to this.
