German newspaper BILD headlines online, that the Undertaker might return at Battleground. They have been pretty well with possible happenings in the past! And yes, its true, that the Undertaker has been named a couple of times lately. Could it be? link |

Why of all PPVs would he choose BattleGround? I'm not complaining. It just seems weird considering his one match a year schedule.
I love me some UT and if this is indeed true...FU** YEAH

I love me some UT and if this is indeed true...FU** YEAH If Taker, or ANYBODY (Sting?) come back at BattleGround it will be for 2 reasons. 1) Even though this show is not seen as "important", it gives the PPV's the feel that "anything can happen" so you HAVE to subscribe, even for the "throw away" shows. Some people only subscribe for months where there is a traditionally "important" PPV (SummerSlam in August, Survivor Series in November, etc). WWE is trying to get people to not cancel for months without a "big name PPV". That's why Sting was at Fastlane. 2) To set something up for SummerSlam. Battleground is July 19, SummerSlam is August 23, if you want to have a full month to promote something for SummerSlam, you have to either do it at Battleground, or the next night on RAW. Anything less than a full month of build up is going to seem rushed and not make sense. |

Could it be? linkTrust me the "BILD" does not know crapabout Wrestling and the Guy that makes Wrestling related posts for that pile of crapof a Newspaper does not take Wrestling serious at all. And when it comes to this Rumor. "BILD" basically reported about something a guy on Reddit wrote about before them so if you need to post links about any Site than use the Reddit post or a Site that actually takes Wrestling serious. |

Why is Taker returning at a low level Event like Battleground? Cause the network is free for new users. Sting showed up at Survivors Series, which was also a free event for new subscribers. They go all out for these free months to suck in new users to continue subscribing
