rome and famous j should take these advise to heart way back in the day jsh use to what i thought it seemed "picked" on my customs but they where in fact constructive criticism that i used to better my customs and try sculpting. with out that advice i wouldn't have dared attempt to make guys like mortis. this is just another example of that ... constructive criticism.
jsh makes customs that most people wouldn't even think of or bother doing because of the difficulty
now i have seen tons of rome and FJs customs and to be truthful i rarely even bother leaving a reply cause all i see is the same skin tones same knee sculpting and the same slashings that really makes my stomach turn im sorry but those slashes take away from their work. they have been told time and time to work on those slashes but never bother to work on them.

I totally forgot how we would compliment each others stuff at CEF. I just signed in there a few minutes ago just to remember some of the old faces and I saw that you were probably thee most active poster in the prototypes board..haha.

I wasn't around for the start of this whole jsh-vs-rome feud, so I honestly don't have much to say on that personal issue.
From the humble stance of a "rookie customizer", I actually love the work that both of them produce. Of course I like both customizers for different reasons.
I love seeing something from jsh because it's usually going to be an indy guy, or someone else that hasn't been created in RA/DA form yet. I've always been impressed with the sculpting aspect of his customs, and it's inspired me to try and get good/creative with sculpting myself. As stated, even by him, his painting isn't the best. Sometimes things are a tad clunky, or whatever. I have the same problems myself, so its easy for me to overlook that part and see the great work that's still sitting there on the screen. Anyone can say what they want about the appearnce of those CM Punks, but those are still two well made, unique pieces of work.
For rome, I just simply love the look of his work. He may just "add on" to already created figures, but I still love what he does. I look at that Batista, Christian, Tomko, AJ, along with the various other figures he's produced, and I see exactly what I wish I was paying for when I buy a Jakks figure.
At the end of the day, I admire the talent of both sides. I would love to become a good sculptor like jsh, and combine that with the paint skills of someone like rome.

wow! what an argument
i can see from all points on this
similarities
- jsh really good customizer same as rome, jay, famous j, txr, kustom kreations,gore, nick, and the list goes on
- all have a weakness
- one is not better than the rest
differerences(sp)
-some use printous/decals
- some sculpt / mod
other points i have
i loved it when u used to be able to post with out some one dawging you out for a lack of abilities/ didnt like you/ they felt like it.
the older days everyone tried to help one another give tips and advice,now the give you hell for not spelling right
i feel if you havnt made a custom dont mess with some one because they missed a spot /etc
another deal is the lack of respect
at least they f#$%ing try to do a custom ,maybe they cant paint as well as you ,so what give them advice or tips
im done , let the argument go on
