With the recent Hogan disaster, I've come to realize we aren't getting any further Mattel Hogan. So, I've decided to track down a bunch of the Hogans I wanted in Jakks form. The only thing is, I want certain head scans... Particularly, hogans without the molded bandana and the complete bald top of his head. So I'm buying a few extra figures with the appropriate heads to swap out to the scan I want. My question is does anyone have a tutorial or link to a video on how to properly PPP these heads off? I'm not a customizer, and am inexperienced entirely in changing my figures. Fortunately, this is as simple as just swapping out a head, but if anyone could help me I showing me how to do it properly, I'd be forever appreciative. Thank you and have a great day.

Boiled water, dip figure in for a few moments, remove, head comes off with a little pull. easy.

I prefer the hair dryer method but I cover from the neck down in a cloth and focus the heat more on the top of the head than the neck area as it can cause the neck pin getting soft . Around 45 seconds works for me and I pop it from under the chin

I go with the hot water method myself. Works like a charm.

I use the hairdryer method. It is much faster seeing you don't have to wait for the water to boil. Also if the head comes off with stem still inside just pull it out with a pair of needle-nose pliers.

Oh on some heads I actually keep the necks stems a tad cracked and I can do quick changes like smiling piper and angry piper heads and it doesnt effect the piece .

Thank you to everyone for all your suggestions. My Hogan figures that I will be swapping the heads out on should be arriving this week. I'll update how my experiment works. I'm hoping to put the Hogan head from the 3pk with Jimmy Hart and Beefcake on a Classic Superstars 11 Hulk Still Rules body. It would be pretty accurate to the look of his final WWE run. Thank you all again.
