It may have been done before but I had an idea for a thread so here goes:
What are the moments that made you question why you watch wrestling and what about it upset you the most?
It could be the Raw Guest host thing, Hogan/Giant craziness from Halloween Havoc 95, David Arquette winning the world title, the Katie Vick saga, the wcw "something " on a pole fixation (boxes, piniata, judy bagwell!!!) Mae Young giving birth to a hand, the list is pretty much endless.

Well for me it's quite simple....
Kevin Owens.
I still do not know why people like him?? There is nothing special about that guy whatsoever, yet the IWC treat him like a wrestling God. If being stuck in mid-card for your entire WWE career now consists of being a 'wrestling God' then I am curious as to what guys like Cena, Orton and Rollins are considered?? Also, when fans thought that Owens should have ended the streak at Wrestlemania on Taker, or that Owens is gonna be the next Brock Lesnar or should pin Lesnar. Both are equally as hilarious as the other.
And number two.
The NXT Divas.
They definitely aren't special. Sure, they have had some solid matches on NXT, but then they have longer time restraints too to work with. Now that they are on Raw and Smackdown, I give it a year before everyone is complaining about them - much like they do now about Paige, when a year or even 2 years ago, Paige was the best thing ever.

this. the ending of SummerSlam 2010 GUTTED me and my friends to our cores. 1995, for both companies. had a hard time not feeling foolish being a wrestling fan back then. |

Alright, Kevin Owens isn't the fittest individual, but he is a great wrestler, who has put on exceptional matches. I do have to agree on the diva thing though, I remember last year everybody was like " yea Paige woohoo best ever" now we get threads on why she sucks. This is why when everyone said "Ooh I can't wait till the NXT divas get called up" I disagreed with them. |

The whole Godfather and the "Ho Train" cr@p. My daughter was just born around then and honestly I found nothing entertaining about it.
Rikishi and his stink faces. Thankfully with Rikishi and the Godfather we had WCW to watch.
Then there was the Big Dick Johnson. Certainly didn't need to see any of that.
And lately Adam Rose and the Bunny. I don't know what was insulting my intelligence more. The cheap Russell Brand impersonation or a guy wrestling in a bunny suit.

I've always been proud to be a wrestling fan. I said it loud & proud many times and I never apologized for it. And in my 30 years of watching Triple H has been my favorite to watch both in and out of the ring.
But for the love of god... that Katie Vick segment was the most embarrassing thing I have ever seen. I was living with my grandma at the time and I remember thinking that if she was flipping by the channels in the other room I was going to have to explain why my favorite wrestler was dry humping a dead mannequin corpse. When people asked me about it at work all I could do was shake my head and say "I dunno".
