I'd rather see Sting than the Brock/Taker match.

That match with Trip became like a joke/old-timers' reunion match anyway, when DX and the nWo interfered. I don't care about seeing Sting wrestle again.

Sting was never competing at SummerSlam. Exactly he hasn't appeared ON WWE programming since WrestleMania

They really see sting as some worthless hack, don't they ? i dunno if it's that, as much as it is kind of like "f-you because you didn't want to work for us 15 years ago" and to be honest, they have a point. Same with him losing to Trips. The background of that feud was WCW vs WWE and Vince is never, has never and SHOULD never make it seem like WCW was better than WWE because they weren't. At least overall.

Plans could change I suppose. I was quite looking forward to the Stinger though.

i just dont understand that after like 15 years you sign STING and the best you can do is not have him wrestle for 3 months, then lose a wcw vs wwe over-booked match to Triple H and then NOTHING else. maybe it really was just to get some money off merch, but really they are like " ![](http://www.wrestlingfigs.com/images/wfcensored.gif) Sting" because he didnt want to work for them all that time ago I love how people thought Sting was being ridiculous for thinking he would be booked like ![](http://www.wrestlingfigs.com/images/wfcensored.gif) in WWE. Well, it seems like Sting was right. He was booked the exact same way Steiner was booked, the exact same way that Nash was booked, the same way Goldberg was booked, etc. They brought him in, made it seem like he was a big deal, then he lost to Triple H, and now it seems like they don't know what to do with him. I honestly think they wanted Sting, just so they can say "we got Sting!" and nothing else.

I wasn't expecting Sting to be honest......and I would rather they didn't use him than use him like they did at WM.

I mean...
If they don't have any good plans for him then I guess it would be dumb just to add him in a random match last minute.

Good and it's exactly how it should be. I'm still under the impression that the only logical explanation for having Undertaker vs Brock Lesnar at Summerslam is so that Sting can interfere and set up the big Match at Wrestlemania 32. If this does happen, then it will get so much more of a reaction that it would if Sting had already been on Raw the previous week and wrestled in a fairly meaningless Match earlier on in the Card. However, I'm still baffled as to why they have gone with the 4 hour extension when the rest of the Card is so rushed and scrapped together. I know that Undertaker vs Brock Lesnar is selling this PPV alone, but the lack of long term planning into the rest of the Card is a bit embarrassing.

Why bring him in at all if he's not going to be on the PPV? And once you have him there, it makes no sense to NOT use him. Bring the man all the way from Texas to NY to do an autograph signing? Seems ridiculous. Why would he even agree to that if he wasn't going to be used on SummerSlam? Seems like a waste of time for Sting.

Sting should interfere in Takers match to set up a wrestlemania match.

Here's hoping this is all just a huge SWERVE.
There aren't many surprises left in wrestling nowadays and it'd be awesome if he did in fact show up at the show in some capacity.
I mark hard for the Stinger and I just can't sit here and believe that his only WWE match is going to be his loss at WM...

So, SummerSlam will be Brock vs. Taker and a bunch of filler for the other 3 1/2 hours?? The card is shaping up to be awful. Looks like someone majorly jumped the gun assuming Sting would be wrestling at SummerSlam and the dirt sheets ran with it. exactly, and that person was Meltzer. so now i guess "Plans have changed" when they were never in the cards to begin with same with the Stephen Amell thing SummerSlam is in three or four weeks. Stardust has been in a fued with Neville, and Miz with Ryback. I think once again Speculation became Sources. so the Dirtsheets once again rolled with it. Dont you think with the size of the PPV. having a Celeb there facing off with a Superstar would have been triggered already. A twitter Fued is far from it. You want a Scoop. Look for the Diva Revolution Match and a Divas Championship match to occupy two diffrent spots on the card. not from a source. its something you can see with your own two eyes by watching RAW. Although The Barclay Center isnt that Far from where Sting will be. so a Cameo could happen Stardust mentioned Green Arrow in his promo this week... but continue on with your dirtsheet rant. Sting or no Sting, SummerSlam looks like it's going to be the drizzling sh*ts.

They did this with Joe as well when he debuted at NXT. Leaked that he wasn't going to be there and was booking other Indy dates. Sting will be at Summerslam, I have no doubts . He is the perfect foil because it keeps the NY crowd from booing the hell out of Reigns.

SummerSlam is a month away and WWE has no idea what they're doing for it.

There is just SO much talent on the roster right now, and Sting has at least a couple of years left where he could put on an entertaining match with someone. I'd love to see Sting vs _________ (pick from a variety of guys) even just as a special attraction. It just annoys me that we are being cheated out of good wrestling for seemingly no reason
