...... The hardest part about getting older, isn't getting older, but watching hero's leave you behind... Piper, is a heavy hit to the heart. Only a week after defending Hogan on TmZ. What a sad day. The Rumble in the clouds just got a hige pop for the Hot Rod!

Ironically, when Dusty passed away last month, I was hoping they would bring in Piper as the new promo instructor.

This has been a rough year...All my idols, the ones who made me fall in love with the business are one by one fading into the sunset. It's hard to to take news like this but when it's someone who has captivated me my entire childhood like Piper did, it hurts  RIP Rowdy Piper, thank you for making me believe! |

First Dusty, now Hot Rod...not to mention all the issues with Hogan. Very tough time to be an old school wrestling fan. So terribly sad I hope wwe wakes up and realizes these legendary talents aren't going to be around forever and they should enjoy them and honor their legacies in person while we can. It's easy to praise people when they're gone...we need to do that while they are with us |

Like I said in the thread in the Wrestling section this is truely the sadest news I have heard in a long while. He was a true LEGEND and a Class act. One of the nicest, friendliest person I ever met. I have to say, it's even strange to say it about Piper, but he really was a man of love. He loved his family, the wrestling business, the people in it, the fans, and entertaining those same fans. The man gave out a lot of love, and got a ton back in return. The wrestling world, was a better place for having him in it, and now it's a little emptier having lost him.
