Strange to think I was just thinking about They Live & I just found out about Roddy's passing.
R.I.P, at least you finally get to see Owen again.

This is a huge lose to the wrestling world.Without question Piper is in the top twenty to even fifteen biggest stars and most important wrestlers in history. He was a huge part of bring pro wrestling to the national stage in the 80's and help transformer wrestling into what it is today.Piper was such a star and huge personality that even none wrestling fans had and idea of who he was.Really sad to see another icon and legend gone.

Saw this on a comic book site looking for updates and I just screamed what? So saddening and crazy.
Seeing that tweet from Punk, damn. The feels.
RIP Hot Rod.

Piper was always one of my favorites. This. This.. just sucks. Damn... God must be a huge wrestling fan, ya know?
RIP Piper. Say hello to the Bulldog and Macho Man for me! I'll always be a fan. I'll miss ya, buddy.

Shocked when I got the notification of my phone. Completely at a lose for words. Rhodes last month, piper this month, hogan last Friday, piper this Friday. So sad. RIP to a true legend "Just when they think they have the answers, I change the questions!"- Piper Rip

Woke up about an hour ago as I went to sleep on the couch pretty early at like 6pm. Checked Twitter and the first thing I saw was a tweet with a pic of Piper, the words that stuck out to me were "will be missed" and I thought "You're kidding".... Completely shocked and gutted. RIP Hot Rod. Some words from Roddy to me, 4 years ago on my 19th birthday. I've always retained these. Attachment DeletedAttachment Deleted

This just ing sucks. It's so hard to imagine guys with larger-than-life personalities like The Warrior, Macho Man, The American Dream, and now Hot Rod leaving us; men who you might think might live on forever. Piper has had one of the greatest careers that any professional wrestler could ever dream of having. While he wasn't the greatest in-ring technician of his time, Roddy has the ability to control any crowd with his words, his ability to incite anger from the crowds, gain sympathy, or just flat out make them laugh. There will likely never be another Rowdy Roddy Piper, he was a one-of-a-kind individual who has impacted so many lives for the 61 years that he was here on this Earth. RIP Piper

Ive been at a loss for words since i heard. I usually try to gather my thoughts and compose one of these remembrance replies with clarity and delivery....but i cant seem to this time. How do you sum up what an ICON of this magnitude has meant to you in a paragraph or two. So instead of mentioning the fueds, the angles, the humor, favorite career highlights, I'm gonna say what i feel at the moment....dammit Rod, I'm gonna miss you. So many childhood memories are tied to you,Flair,Warrior,Savage,Lawler,Hogan etc...and so many of you are gone. However the memories of you and your fellow brothers last for eternity. There will never be another Hot Rod....one of the very few guarantees i can make without fear of contradiction. RIP Roddy....I'm out of bubblegum too. But the next ass i have to kick will be dedicated to you. Thanks for all years and the smiles.

Just like when Dusty passed, I'll say it again about Piper, the business would be much better if there were more like him in it.

RIP Rowdy Roddy Piper. One of the greatest heels of all time, but was also an excellent face.

And looking through stuff, and seeing the video of when TMZ asked him about Dusty, right after he passed, I just got an imagine in my head that made me smile, of Piper helping Dusty try to sneak a donkey past the pearly gates.

Top 15-20? More like top 5-10 baby. A lot of people knew who Piper was. He's up there with Hogan, Andre, and The Rock as "recognizable" wrestlers.

I got to meet him a handful of times, and I'll be damned if he didn't make you feel like an old friend every time you talked to him. Like he was honestly waiting for YOU to come. A true legend is gone.

Just devastated. I'm shocked beyond belief right now. For me personally, this has been a very rough year and I've had to deal with many losses and unfortunately, this year just keeps getting worse. 2015 is the worst year I've ever had in my life. Too many losses.... I am so glad I got to meet Hot Rod when he was here. He is without question, the coolest and nicest wrestler I've ever met and I've met a lot over the years. I will forever cherish that memorable meeting and will never forget the lasting impact he has left behind. Heaven just gained an ICON. Rest in Peace, "Rowdy" Roddy Piper

I'm absolutely gutted. I feel so sad for his family, but at the same time I'm glad he went peacefully in his sleep. Thank you so very much for teaching me how to fight. May the earth rest lightly upon you.

Just listened to his podcast last week about the Stone Cold thing. Just gutted. He seemed like a great father and husband. Really feel for them.

It's been a few hours now, and I still have that empty feeling. My chest feels hollows and my shoulders are heavy.
