Why is it a 10 bell salute? Is there a significance to the number 10? My mom asked me that earlier tonight and tbh I've never thought to question it before.
What happened to Booker T?

Not really sure exactly, I just assume it's symbolic to count the guy out to 10 to pay respect for him. And what about Booker T? Didn't see him, but not surprised by that.

I assume the 10 bell salute is wrestling tradition to pay respects to a fallen brother
I also assume Booker is busy filming tough enough

I know the 10 bells is a sign of respect but does anyone know why 10 was chosen?

It may have originated from boxing.
The ten-bell salute is also used in boxing to honor deceased boxers, where it is also known as the "final ten-count."

I just assume 10 seems like a good number. I have no clue if there is an explanation for it.
Booker is currently filming Tough Enough.

Gonna assume it means like a count out of a match. Ten count, that's it, match is over forever.
Ten bells, that's it, they're officially gone forever.
It's a tribute thing obviously, but I would assume that's the reasoning behind it.

Booker T is doing tough enough. TBH I like Booker T but his announcing is terrible. In glad he isn't announcing, he alright on the kick off panel though.
