Batista should come back as heel, kind of like Hollywood Rock was. I think Batista would be great in that sort of role.

He's not coming back. He's 46 and landed back to back HUGE movie roles. WWE totally screwed him in his last "run". He was supposed to win the title, but the fans turned on him because they thought he "stole" the spot from Daniel Bryan, who originally was NEVER supposed to be anywhere near the WWE title. People forget that WWE turned Daniel Bryan heel and put him in the Wyatt's for a few weeks and then when CM Punk walked out they pulled the plug on that and Daniel Bryan took Punk's spot. Daniel Bryan turned face before CM Punk left. He even wrestled Bray Wyatt at the Royal Rumble, which is the last show Punk competed at. And can you blame fans for turning on Batista? The fans had spent the past year getting behind Daniel Bryan, only for Batista to stroll back in 4 years later (not in good shape at first either) and take the title? Bryan may have never been supposed to win the title, but that was an awful idea and that's why they changed it after Punk left. |

Batista should never have been promised the title anyway. What were WWE thinking when they thought it would be a good idea to bring him back after 4 years and hand him the belt while younger and more deserving guys are pushed aside.
Batista was never a draw either so it's not as if they did it for ratings. |

He's a wonderful heel. I like Batista a lot and always have. He'll get booed as a face but cheered as a heel because he's awesome.

If Batista were to return as a face, Survivor Series 2014 would've been the time to do it. He should have been on Team Cena. I still stand by that.

I think it could work, hell id look forward to Batista vs Sheamus, but what they did, or attempted to do last time was absolutley stupid, trying to put him over Bryan... Batista has a good idea on how business works and he even said he told creative what they wanted wasn't going to work.
I like Batista, and I hope we see him again soon, maybe he'll help Rollins at SummerSlam

With everything that happened with the WWE last year and his success in Hollywood, Batista doesn't need to come back at all. If I were in his position, I wouldn't either. I remember him saying in a podcast last year that because the fans cared about Bryan as much as they did, they were ignoring the other talented guys on the roster. It's just not the kind of environment I imagine Batista wants to be in.

He's a natural heel and that's the only time I ever remotely enjoy his work. Highly doubt he will ever be back though.

I wanted him back in WWE for 4 years, and what happened when he came back? WWE took a giant crap on him. So no, I don't want him to come back again if it's just going to be a repeat of last year.

Wwe screwed Batista , I enjoy Batista face or heel , but more as a heel , if he doesn't return I wouldn't blame him , but id like for him to come back and have one more championship run

It's interesting to see how many people suddenly think he was screwed now that he's gone, yet all I seem to remember was a massive wave of hate towards him last year. I'll be honest, I was PO'd at the end of WM XXX, because it should of been Batista holding those belts up, NOT Bryan. I'm a Bryan fan, but that whole "Yes Movement" thing? Didn't like it one bit.

He left as I was starting to enjoy him. Should've never been promised a title run as a face. He did play a brilliant heel however and was part of some excellent matches like the 2 Shield Evolution matches and the WM main event. Pretty sure he had a few good matches with Dolph Ziggler as well. However, I wouldn't lose any sleep if I never saw him wrestle again.

Punk/HHH would have been a good match, I think. I love the match they had back at NOC in 2011, which is ironic, because at the time I was disappointed that Nash had been pulled from the match. Does anyone know why Nash was pulled from that match? I assumed it was because he didn't clear WWE's medical tests, but he faced HHH at TLC, so it can't be that.

I see where punk is coming from but he's a disgruntled former employee. All rumors said he was loosing to HHH and Batista was winning the title. One of the reasons Punk left was because he never main eventer mainia. Why would he leave if that was going to happen? |
