I'll never forget when this interview happened. I hated the wrestling name "Daniel Bryan" from the jump. I thought it sounded like your neighbor's' kid who was trying to be an athlete but wasn't any good so he turned to chemistry. It was one of the LEAST intimidating or important sounding names in the history of wrestling. Regardless of whether it was a play on Bryan Danielson or not... I knew Bryan was the complete package, the ultimate underdog and a guy the fans would really want to get behind. Then he got eliminated from NXT and was like WTF??? And he did this interview, called himself Bryan Danielson (I marked THE out and I truly believed this was the WWE booking him in a completely new direction, was gonna take his indy name and become the GOAT. Well...he didn't take the name, but if you sit back and look at what Daniel Bryan has accomplished in and out of the ring, after THIS interview. It gives me chills, like the cameraman at the end of it. Things like this are why I do love the existence of professional wrestling

When I first got into the indies, and mainly ROH, Bryan Danielson was my guy. I saw his last ever match in ROH live. I remember as he told his goodbye speech, some dude in the crowd shouted "PUNCH JOHN CENA IN THE EAR" and Bryan responded by saying he would do just that when he got to the WWE.
Anyway, seeing the rise of Bryan was one of my favorite things in wrestling history. It made me feel good as a fan and, even if he can never compete again, I will always have WrestleMania XXX.

I never saw anything in him personally.
However, the hobo they got off the streets who is playing the character Daniel Bryan now is much better!

The cameraman was trippy as hell at the end.
It's crazy because I was just reading that portion of Bryan's career in his book the other night and it's surreal to see the guy go from that to the main event of Wrestlemania.

When he said about how he can beat Batista, that brought chills to my spine.

Absolutely the most deserving guy in the world of the moment he got at WrestleMania XXX.

I discovered Bryan Danielson in early 2009, just a little while before he signed. He damn near immediately became my favorite wrestler. I lost my crap when he signed with WWE. I was then extremely pissrd with how he was treated throughout NXT. Then he cut this promo and I again lost my crap. Then he got fired.

It's awesome to see how far he came all the way to the main event of Wrestlemania. It's incredible and well deserved.

I am 100% sure that this will get a lot of hate, but I don't care. As far as I'm concerned, he is the greatest professional wrestler of all time. Most accomplished? No. Made the most money? No. But to me, he's the best. It doesn't get better than Daniel Bryan.

Punk is another guy that I have no issues with putting in my greatest of all time conversations.

DB has been my favorite the last few years in WWE. A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of meeting Bryan. Now I've met a few guys over the years, including Jericho and even Eli Manning, but for some odd reason I was star struck when I shook Bryans hand.

I love how he writes off "Daniel Bryan". Based on his independent run, WWE's decisions in booking him are incredibly frustrating.

The best thing that ever happened in Daniel Bryan's career was getting fired the night he strangled Justin Roberts. He was spared the Nexus, being fed to Cena and instead got to return a face, go over WITH Cena and then get some decent singles title runs.
I will never get used to calling him Daniel Bryan.

I don't know if I would say of all-time, but you could make a very strong case for Daniel Bryan being the greatest wrestler (wrestler, not superstar) of the 21st Century. For me it's between him or Kurt Angle.
