I'm 25 and i still collect, I have had people in my room including girls, and they didn't mind, hell i even collected whilei was in college. I didn't care what people would say, if they weren't cool with it i still hung out with them. I'm a collector and i am not ashamed of it.

Try to find friends who also like wrestling. And if youre lucky, try to find friends who also collect figures.

I don't really care if people know but I don't mention it. The only thing for me is that I find myself thinking about how I should probably be spending my money on other things people my age actually need. Like for clothes, food, concert tickets and going out with friends.(The latter isn't necessary but going out and socializing instead of hiding out in my room all day staring at toys is needed because that can't be healthy for my mental health) i'm 18 too btw.

I'm fixing to be 30, my gf doesn't care ... I honestly wouldn't care if she did, because I'm gonna keep collecting anyways. I wrestle, she doesn't care, but if she did I'd still do it anyways. My friends know that I collect and wrestle, would I care if they did ? ... nope, I'd do it anyways. There's a pattern there, somewhere

With age comes wisdom. I'm 34, have a beautiful girl, and an amazing son. My son thinks it's a bit funny how dad "decollects" wrestling "fingers" - but he is stoked that they will all be his one day. Hates that his isn't allowed to open the. (don't worry he has way way more toys the me, he always comes first) anywho, back to ur issue. I get ur issue, fitting in is often very important to us at 18... But honestly in 10 years time it won't matter. My advice (easy for me to say) own it! em - if they don't like u for u, plenty of others will. It's difficult to just be u, but no one does it better then u...

36, balling, more figures than Mattel has made. I have doubles, triples, and a crazy amount of belts.
Do you. Women don't care. My wife jokes me from time to time but buys me figures all of the time. I have a 34 year old friend that still plays with a massive Lego collection. He slays more ass than most anyone else I know.
Screw what others think.

Bro, the haters. Take your collection to college with you. Set up a display in your dorm room. The bitches love it, your dorm will become a breeding/feeding ground for hotties and wild parties! You'll thank me later.

Keep your collection at your parents' house and periodically add to it when you come across figures you like. Normally people don't have a lot of space in college to store or display. I also recommend branching out and support your nearest independent wrestling promotion...if they deserve it. lol I started going to local shows when I was a Freshman 6 years ago and it was a blast. Agree with everything

I'm 25 and still collect toys. I learned not to care what others think. If you have friends who would make fun of you because of your hobby, then they aren't real friends to begin with. Don't be ashamed or anything like that, continue to enjoy yourself.

really? You hid what you love from your friends? If they dont support you, could you really call them friends? All my friends knew I had been collecting for years and support me. Hell some of them buy me figures. Who gives two s what others think of you? If i based my life on what others think of me id be a complete loser. BTW im 28

It will be a lot easier to be a collector in college than it would be in high school. Even though there's frats and sororities, college is a lot less cliquey and less judgmental. You are now an adult. Do what you want.

I am 35, still collecting figures and do not care what other people think. While I don't tell everybody I collect figures, you may end up meeting as many people who think what you do is cool and being yourself as you would people who ridicule you for it.

I had a lot of acquaintances in college who I'd talk to that were into wrestling during the Monday Night Wars who were excited when Austin stunned McMahon the 1st time. I was wearing my nWo shirt and my college professor was a fan of them he liked the fact that they were renegades, he was 60 years old. You'll be surprised at who follows wrestling.

I am 26 and show no signs of stopping my collection. All of my coworkers know and they think it is cool. I love wrestling and collecting and that is all that matters.
