I dont even pay any attention to the divas division. WWE puts absolutely no effort into it and its a joke. Banks/Lynch/Charlotte are already suffering the effects of the main roster divas division. Banks/Lynch had arguably one of the best womens match in WWE history and what do they do with them? Throw them in a huge cluster  of a divas feud where they cant even shine. They should have treated Banks like Kevin Owens. Come in as NXT womens champion, Go after the top dog and make a name for themself. Its a really simple concept they nailed once and completely dropped the ball on the other in a matter of weeks. |

You can't possibly say all the main roster girls are "generic" anymore. All 9 of the girls in the division are all different from personality to in ring style. None of them do the same things at all.even though Despite the mic time and How creative doesn't allow them more character you can't say any of them are generic.

I think Victoria in 2002 and Mickie James in 2006 had psycho gimmicks, oddly enough both were feuding with Trish.

Yes the ones that constantly talk about how much they want to have sex with this diva and post nothing but diva pictures bending down and stuff not the ones who actually talk about wrestling.I agree with you. |

How can you say this current crop of main roster divas is generic? I mean, fair play if we were talking about the Eva Marie, Kelly Kelly, Layla etc group, but even the identical twins have completely different characters!
You seriously mean to tell me that a Paige vs Naomi match would be pretty much the same as watching Nikki Bella vs Becki Lynch? Surely you jest.

Not sure if the "creepy Divas fans" thing is in reference to me or not but I'm going to address it anyway.
The Bayley thread is like 72 pages and has MAYBE 10 sexual-related posts about her body or whatever.
Bayley is my favorite wrestler. Period. I don't look at it any different than having a 72 page thread on Bret Hart, Stone Cold, etc.
If you guys can't see the difference or find that "creepy" then piss off because you're completely misunderstanding everything that thread is about.

Anyone here play Sunset Overdrive? There was this group of Mexican women on there and I thought their look would be great for a WWE Diva...    Well they have had Ivelisse, Melina, Rosa Mendes & Shelly Martinez as latina divas and never done anything like this with them. |

I still don't know what a creepy diva fan is but if its me constantly talking about them wrestling and wanting them to grow even better then I'll love to be a creepy diva fan.

This is somewhat of a controversial opinion around these parts; but I've never gravitated to female wrestling. I have seen good matches from time to time; but no character or personality sticks out as being even the slightest bit memorable. I have many qualms with the popularized 'diva' 'wrestling.' Especially, and most are entirely exclusive to the WWE. The creative fails to strike an acceptable balance between your typical 'diva' allure of 'sexiness' as well as the intimidation factor that is a pivotal point in all of wrestling. There is just nothing that entertains me when it comes to 'divas.'
