A friend of mine has some figs with marker on them. He asked how to remove it, and I did not know, but I thought you might. I am guessing it would have stained the plastic, but I have never dealt with it before.

Umm..like Sharpie or Magic Markers? Try throughly washing the spot first, then go to nail polish remover.

Umm..like Sharpie or Magic Markers? Try throughly washing the spot first, then go to nail polish remover. Wash in cold water, warm or hot water will soften the plastic to the point where the marker will set into the plastic. Cold water will make it hard and rigid so the ink doesn`t set in, good luck with sharpie though. If that doesn`t work on sharpie a little bit of sanding in the spot where the ink is will do the trick. just lightly sand the ink spot. I find a fine dremel head will do the trick just fine.
