Mickie was amazing during this time, absolutely brilliant. The psycho stalker gimmick had been recycled to death by that point but she took it to another level and made it fresh and believable.

I think MJ really succeeded in all of her roles. She is a very very underrated talent. I don't think there was ever a time I didn't enjoy her work.

This match was in my top 10 of all time for a good while. Mickie was amazing as a psycho, and the skirts didn't hurt lol

I loved this angle so much! I showed what Divas can really do!
I need to change my status back to the Official Psycho of Banter now that the thread is back.
Psycho Mickie & Victoria were the best psycho's ever!

Lot of respect for Mickie James; this role was fantastic to see her thrive in...shame that as years passed her uniqueness was shelved until it was manifested in that horrible 'Piggie James' angle...

As of right now, Trish/Mickie is the bests women's match in WrestleMania history. For 2006, it was ahead of its time. Sad to see no women's match has came close to Trish Stratus/Mickie James from WrestleMania 22. After 2006, the women's division really started to decline and didn't have that spark that was there from 2002-2006. I wish the WWE did more with Mickie James. When 2007 came, you really started to see how detrimental the Diva's Search was. Whoever wrote any of the Piggy James stuff needs to be shot in the crotch. |

I loved Psycho Mickie James. She was perfect playing that role and it was the best women's storyline ever.

I've always looked at Mickie the way so many of you look at Paige. Being at WM22, that crotch spot got a legit top 3 pop of the night.
