Hard to say, many wrestlers tell stories of Vince being a very good human being. Putting their health and monetary well being above that of the WWE. Many others tell stories about him being a bully, and vindictive.
There was also the secretary that accused him of sexual misconduct and got a cash settlement out of it. So who knows.

Hard to say really. Depends on who you ask I guess. John Cena and CM Punk probably have vastly different opinions about him. I'd say he's a decent guy with some fairly obvious flaws.

His personal life is so private that there's not many people that would know. He works so much and doesn't seem to let his guard down and relax very often.
He's helped people financially when they were in a jam. Not every little person who's worked for him but still quit a few. I remember Austin, I think, mentioning Vince helped him purchase a house.
I really think many dirt sheets and former disgruntled wrestlers have given fans the idea that he's just like his character. There's solid proof and the good he has done but just vague rumors of the bad things.

I have him on speed dial. We talk about American Dad, GTA V, & the MCU. When I bring up wrestling... he has no idea what I'm talking about.

I've never met him.
However, he does donate his entire wardrobe to the homeless every year.
He's good with me.

I would have to assume that just like virtually every other human being in existence, he's not all good or all bad, but somewhere in between.

Here's the quote "Technically not a crazy Vince story, but in Bobby Heenan's first book he told a story about how Linda told Brain that Vince donates his entire wardrobe to homeless shelters every year and buys himself a new wardrobe. So if you ever see a hobo wearing a sky blue suit, you now know where it came from."

Absolutely. He seems more misunderstood than anything.

I don't know him personally, so I can only speculate.
He seems like a fair guy, but the world of business that he is in is a cut-throat one.
Sometimes he comes across like a complete jerk, but I respect him for the company he helped build.

Y'know, I've never meet him, but when I've read stuff from normal people he seems pretty decent. A year or so back another member (i dont remember who) relayed a story of meeting him and Linda while they were on vacation and reported that they seemed super down to earth and nice.
Wrestlers often have mixed opinions, which given the boss-employee relationship but on the crazy level of pro wrestling, makes sense. I'm sure he was/is/can be a difficult man to work for.
I guess as a person I choose to believe he's an ok guy. Maybe even good guy. As a boss or business man... Eh, I'm fairly sure he's no saint.
Who knows though..

In the 80's he worked hard to take over and ever since then he's worked hard to stay on top. When he's working, it's gonna be all work. You always hear things about how he's approachable, and always ready to listen and offer advice. Mostly you hear bad things from people in the company who aren't going anywhere and don't seem to have any real ideas for themselves even after they leave. Or people who have never had much success aside from competing in the Indy circuit in their later years.
