Partial Source: Wrestling Inc- Several readers have pointed out that the U.S. Championship, which Seth Rollins won tonight at WWE SummerSlam, has gone missing from the "Champions" section at WWE.com. I'm not sure if it means anything, or if it's just a case not wanting Rollins on that page twice.

Hmmm. I think they just didn't want to list him twice.
IMO they would have waited until they officially retired the title to remove it, if that's what they were planning on doing.

I don't think it will be retired. If they did do it, then it made no sense to advertise that one of those men will be both US and WWE Champ at the same time.

Whats the future of the US title now I wonder. For some reason, that title for title match just screamed title unification all over it. Thats the way i saw it. So for now, the champion is back to carrying two belts again... Unless they find a way to have Rollins lose either one somewhere down the road or the way i see it, a title unification.

I think it was just a glitch or some stupid rule where they can't show someone twice on the front page where champions are shown..

So funny, a few months ago, many were asking for the US or IC title to be retired, now the US belt is probably being hinted of retiring, and people are saying no... Hahaha.. Internet wrestling fans logic.

Well they just spent all this time building it back up as a legit title! It would be foolish to retire it now...

Night of Champions: Triple threat match like WrestleMania 2000 where Kurt came in as a duo champ with IC and Euro titles. Rollins, Cena, and either Owens or Cesaro.
